Tech Fest is one of the best. Liked our cultural fest too.
Sports was another one my favourite things along with placements.
I have got a bunch of friends without whom I cannot think about FIT.

Course Curriculum Overview

I chose my course because in the upcoming years, AI is going to take over the world. It's a new introduction to the B.tech course. It's very interesting. The faculty members are strict and friendly at the same time. The classes taken by our HOD are the best. Our faculty members are highly qualified with a great amount of knowledge. Exams will be under MAKAUT University. Questions are not too tough but you have to have clear knowledge about the particular subject.

Class Size: 61Course Fees: INR 90000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

During 2021 the course fees were 3.72 lakhs overall. Now it is 77000 to 101700 annually. A lot of scholarships are accepted here SVMCM being the most used one. Almost 80% of the students get jobs through campus with an average of 6 LPA.

Campus Life

We have two fests, cultural (Unicorn) and tech (Unitron) fests. Cultural Fest is held in May and Tech Fest is in March/April. Plenty of books are available in the college library. If hard copies of some books are not available then you can get the soft copy from there. We have two grounds, Annual sports are held there. The main events are cricket, football, badminton, volleyball, kho-kho, tug of war, kabaddi(women's only), table tennis, etc. There are tech clubs, and cultural clubs all run by 3rd year and 4th year students.

Admission

I had to take the WBJEE exam and our cut-off rank was around 45000 in 1st round. Students can get all the details on the website wbjeeb.nic.in which is the official website of WBJEE. After you get the rank within the cut-offs then you have to go to the college and all the process will be carried on there. Students and parents get to talk to the administrator which is like an interview. They want to know your thoughts about your course and your future aims.

Placement Experience:

Well as far as mh knowledge students get to placements from 6th semester itself . Well there are placement classes from 3rd semester itself . The placement track record of the college is quite good with most year about 90% gets placed with good companies comming like Deloitte, EY GDS , JP MORGAN, Oracle , offering high amount of placement offers like around 20+ lpa . Well I am not sure about my plans maybe if the palacement is good I'll take it or will be preparing for GATE (Whose courses are also provided from college .)

GOOD College at low fees.

Placement Experience:

Placement of my college are quite good with a avg package of 6 to 7 lpa and higest package of 45 lpa and this year the higest package is 75 lpa. The companies visited in my college are infosys, Capgemini,tcs,wipro, Mindtree,IBM, sometimes amazon also.The placement rate of the college is 85 to 95%.

Course Curriculum Overview:

the cirricullum is quite relevent and comprehensive . BTECH program especially CSE includes specializations like data sciene , cybersecurity, IOT, etc . Exams are held twice in a semester . the college could include hand on learning through workshop , industry project and interships .

our college average package is 600000 per Anum and highest package is 1800000 per Anum according to recent data. and 80% of student got placed . And wipro , windows, tcs , siemens , tata like companies come to our college for placement. Core students are also got placed but many of them goes for hihger studies.

Placement Experience:

From the 3rd year onwards , students become eligible for internships and stepping in 4th yr , students get eligible for campus placement. Techno provides decent campus placements according to your marks. Good marks also with skills get you better salary. Minimum 7.5 cgpa is mandatory to have you sit for campus placements. The lowest package is 3.4 LPA and highest vary but students also get 14LPA easily. Wipro, tcs ,cap ,gemini, amazon , ibm etc.

Placement Experience:

After 6th semester student become eligible for the campus placements. Amul(GCMF) , Mother Dairy, Vidya Dairy, Bhagirathi cooperative, Wamul, ITC are the company's visited and they provide good packages according to the students work in interview. After getting the degree I would pursue my hair studies in Mtech Food Technology from IIT or go to MBA course from IIM. My main goal is to get NDRI National Dairy Research Institute which is top institute for imparting dairy and veterinary courses for MTech Dairy Technology. 70 to 80% of the students are being placed and the packages very from 20 lakh per anum to 40 lakh per annum. After getting BTech degree most of the students preferred to go for higher studies and job. Research line is open for our course. Most girls prefer higher studies and research line and most boys prefer for job.

Placement Experience:

Almost 100% of the students can get placements if they study well and learn well. The highest salary package offered is 10 LPA, the lowest salary package offered is 3 LPA and the average salary package offered is 5 LPA. The top recruiting companies of our college are Amul, Mother Dairy, Red Cow, Metro, ITC, Thackers, TCS etc. Students can get various types of jobs like dairy development officer, dairy technologist, farm manager etc.

My rank in wbjee wasn't such good enough to get CSE in max of Kolkata's college. Also i wanted a college pretty close to the Kolkata metro. I didn't want to wear uniform.
