Likes

Faculty were amazing and campus life was nieghter good nor bad, kind of so-so.
I liked most my economic teacher named Jay kishan sir and my friends.
College new building is fabulous and extra ordinary.

Dislikes

Nieghter placement nor intership were provided.
Sometimes students used to fight each other. It was awful.
Canteen was worst, there were no health or testy foods available.

Course Curriculum Overview

My percentage was low and I had not many options so I had to take what options were available. Teachers were brilliant and intelligent, they tough very well and they used to make us live while teaching so students never got bored, and fun with learning. Term exams used to take place on time however during COVID it was a bit convenient but fine.

Class Size: 50Course Fees: INR 6050 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The course fee was only 6050 rupees Evan though college provided opportunities to those who were financially weak to get 50% fee back. Those who wished to get the fee back had to bring some necessary documents.

Campus Life

Every year the fest used to organize however it was as good as the college organized for morning students it was a disappointment. Library used to often run out of syllabus material or books but different kinds of newspapers were available every day.

Admission

When I took the admission it was based on percentage however it's now based on the entrance exam which I wanted. Students can find admission information on Du or Zakir Husain's official website. I really wanted to take admission through the entrance exam however that time du used to take admission on the bases of percentage.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course that I'm doing is very relevant it teaches me about every marketing term that is still applicable the teaching methods adopted for core papers is purely through marketing case studies of new age brands however for SEC VAC GE the other lower credit papers the faculty is bad as well as they don't give context before teaching and assume that their students also have the same background like humanities etc my course for my core papers is veryy good

JMC is a beauty!!

Placement Experience:

Placements Cell is working very closely with industries and therefore the first learn their requirements and then they train us accordingly. So after a proper training in 2 years, we are made to sit for interviews in the 3rd year and thankfully around 80 odd percentage of girls form our college are placed.

A brief Review of my Experience at Hindu College

Placement Experience:

From semester 5th students become eligible for placements. In fact they are still going on right now. Major companies that i know off which usually visit our college are Bain, DeShaw, Delloite etc. So yea majorly consultancy firms. The highest package as of now in our batch is roughly around 18LPA it could go higher maybe in the near future as the placements are still active. The percentage of students as per my knowledge is around 50% while the placements are still undergoing.

*I applied for many colleges but got enrolled in Zakir Hussain because of distance from my home and also i research about infrastructure of this college it has vast facilities there. * No, I didn't get any rejection, i just wanted to do less travell. * At my time, i got admission through my merit percentage. for my course 92% required for morning and 85% for evening. i was eligible for eveing only.
