Course Curriculum Overview
I choosed CSE course since it have programming base on C and Java, also it will teach many things about electronics and internet. JIS have Flip class facility where students discuss about a particular question given by teacher and solved by group discussion. In Flip class bench and chair are not like normal class, there are circular desk and student sit in chair In round, and teacher is present in the middle. Exam questions are on standard level neither too hard nor easy.
Internships Opportunities
This best about JIS College of Engineering when it comes for internships. College will recommend many websites and apps where students will get discounts for learning a course. Many seminars functions will also be there where many projects and internships will be recommend. And this increase Maar points and Moocs which will help in placement.
Placement Experience
From 3rd year means 5th or 6th semester campusing may be started. Companies like Amazon, Artech and Paytm have visited with offers of average 5 lacks per annum and highest 10 lacks or more. There should be a minimum qualifing CGPA (5.0), but for some good companies more than 8.0 CGPA should be recommend. After getting degree you should decide yourself which field you want to go, like I am interested on UI/UX design and some are interested ethical Hacking.
Fees and Financial Aid
Fees will be different for each students based on marks and percentage in boards and rank in entrance exam. Placements and Jobs have good package (5 lacks per annum), JIS do provide some scholarships for students.
Campus Life
Fest are conducted every year mostly, where students participate on various activities like dance, singing, instrument playing and others. There are many books on various different topics are available in the library. You will get lots of books of various different authors and subjects.
Admission
Based on the percentage of 10th and 12th board and rank in entrance exam fees will be reduced. Also fees may be different for Direct admission and admission by councilling. Application form may be found in JIS College of Engineering official website or in the admission office.
Interview Experience
I am second year student currently, but as far I know in interview generally short programming question which are bit tricky are asked, also either will see practical knowledge. Criteria process will be a bit different for Direct admission and admission by councilling.
