Sasmit's University Experience

My plan from the start was to go into the IT field as it's more kind of creativity as well as mental ability and also you can grasp knowledge from various courses and also the fact that it's a booming industry currently worldwide. As our institute is autonomous the faculty has been exceptionally good as they have given us the liberty to choose our own slots and the faculty and let students learn according to their choice. Teaching skills are excellent as well as the examination pattern is good. Though it's autonomous we have a benefit but it's not easy to score also as it has various other factors too

We have campus placements from our college and according to me, a. Student is eligible from the 7th semester for the campus placements if not campus placements then they can try through various portals online and can give the entrance exams for the following company. My plans would he trying to get a campus placement first or else I would go for masters

It would be more political if I speak about the fee structure but more or less I think it's perfect depending upon the facilities we have been provided as well as the knowledge we're gaining. We are sure that it's worth the investment. As I'm in my second year now I'll be exploring the campus internship opportunities more and would try to get some experience through it

Overall the experience of the campus life has been extremely good. We have various facilities such as libraries, then a clubhouse where we have various indoor games as well as playstations then we have 2 grounds for outdoor sports as well as one badminton court. Our annual fest is named "VERVE" and it's the most exciting period in a VITians college life as it's kind of a break from a daily hectic schedule aslo students get to participate in various activities and explore themselves more where they fit in and where they don't. We have a special event for sports called sports mania in which all the sportsmen from the college arrive to make it a successful event and there are various councils such as sports, literary, cultural, photography, etc in which you can enrol and showcase your talent and can be a part of that council

The admission process was kind of smooth. I gave CET exam through which I got admission to VIT as it was an online process it was smooth and also efficient. I scored 96 percentile and cut-off for my college was around 95 percentile. As I fall in the open category my cutoff was 95 but if one comes under any other caste they may get some benefit in cutoffs. I would suggest making the process on time and on the given date without delaying it as it is an online process otherwise it's all great.
