What Students Say

Likes

Faculties are helpful. You can even ask doubts to them after the class too.
Coding culture. No matter in which branch you are, NSUT offers that environment in which every student can participate in coding contests.
Campus life is too good. The interaction with seniors is awesome, they treat you like their brother/sister.

Dislikes

Attendance policy. 75% attendance is mandatory for each semester which just waters away the other plans
Fees. In my perspective, fees is a little too high.
Delayed result for each semester. Sometimes you have to wait for months for results

Course Curriculum Overview

I have interest in robotics and machineries along and hence I chose ICE. Student: Faculty ratio is also okay its near about 9-10:1. Most of them are post graduated. Apart from mid-sem and end-sem, there are class tests too on a regular basis.

Class Size: 90Course Fees: INR 229000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Currently I'm in my first year but I have a rough idea about internship 1. Microsoft: It was open for CS/IT. Cutoff was 65-70%. Paper was diided into 2 sections (with 1/3rd negative): Objective (30 mins) and Subjective (45 mins) Similarly many other companies visited too like Amazon, Qualcomm, Texas, Cisco, InfoEdge etc.

Fees and Financial Aid

For BTech in NSUT the fee structure for this year is: 1st year: 2,29,000 2nd year: 2,40,000 3rd year: 2,50,000 4th year: 2,70,000 However there are scholarships too like if you are in top 5% of your class there is relaxation on the tution fees.

Campus Life

Campus life at NSUT is really awesome. There are many clubs & societies like for dramatics, astronomy, senior-junior interaction, tech society, coding, e-cell, photography and many more. There are great fests too 1. Moksha (cultural fest) 2. Resonanz (tech fest) . You will definitely enjoy here. Talkin about sports NSUT has a cricket ground, a football ground, basketball ground. Also they offer indoor games like table tenis, badminton, billiards, chess. There is a well maintained AC library to but it has mostly subject oriented books.

Admission

I got NSUT through JEE Main. It is conducted by NTA every year for getting admission in NITs/IIITs and many more prestigous colleges of India. Last year cutoff was: General: 90.7788642 EWS: 75.6229025 OBC-NCL: 73.6114227 SC: 51.9776027 ST: 37.2348772 PWD: 0.0013527

Placement Experience:

From second year onwards... student are given access to Traning and placement department... Most 2nd, 3rd years are eligible for intership offers and 3rd years are eligible for job offers. Ebullient (85LPA) is the highest offer provided, Avg package is around 17LPA. but but only 37% student has been placed this FY till now (placements are still going on)

In Delhi technological University , the campus placements are very high and students placed on campus. Delhi technological University Are very good at campus placements. Over 350 to 400 companies reach delhi technological university for on campus hiring of students.

3rd and 4th year students are eligible for placements, less students from 3rd year Amazon, google, atlassian visited this college, less offers for high packages Highest packages are 1.3cpa, 95lpa and also there are some packages over 50lpa Lowest are 3lpa, in mass recruitment people get 3-4lpa In 2022, placement numbers are good, but in 2023 2024 less placement offers as compared to total students My plans are try to find off campus placement, but also sit in on campus placement

Placement Experience:

Campus placement is really nice approx 70-80% students got placed with very nice pavkage. The packages are also really nice. Some MNC's offer very high pavkage also. The average package here is 7 lakh per annum.

Overview of DTU

Placement Experience:

Students are available to get placed starting sem 7, the placements of my college are great, it's fairly easy to get placed, most students get placed by the end of sem 8, Companies like Adobe, Google, Microsoft, Amazon come to our college, the highest placed student this year was 80 lakhs, all the companies mentioned above took atleast 4-10, students. Around 80% students are placed for sure, My plans after getting the degree is to become a content creator whole doing my job, trying to balance everything, also i have plans to start my own business

All about NSUT

I got into this college through the JEE mains exam I selected this college specifically to take admission in the computer science branch as it has great placements over all. Comparing this college to DTU or some mid level iits I would say that as far as placements are considered they all line on the same level and did you as a little bit chiller college life compared to nsuity but yes overall the placements are more or less the same level of these colleges...Read More
