Course Curriculum Overview

The course is a good one especially since it's not too old as compared to the courses in University colleges. The courses are well-designed and the syllabus is not so vast. The faculty was well educated and trained and the student-faculty ratio is also good.

Class Size: 40Course Fees: INR 97000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees are actually almost 2 lakh for the open category and for OBC it's nearly 1 lakh, 1 lakh rupees scholarship is available for the students and it also has a TFWS quota which is beneficial for financially weak students.

Campus Life

The college has a fest named Yash organized every year by the college students themselves. Many students do participate in it many events are held. Yash is organized somewhat in April or May. And other events do take place throughout the year.

Admission

The admission process was a very simple one but had to wait for a long time because of the rush. All the information was available on the campus and also available on the college website. The admission process was a bit time-consuming but it's okay because the number of people for admission was a lot.

Placement Experience:

From 7th Sem, students are eligible for placements and undergo placement training. Many companies has visited so far but the big ones are Godrej, BEL, Framatome, etc. The highest package for mechanical was 7.5 LPA and the avg package was around 5 LPA with a majority of job roles as GET. Almost 95% students are placed. I'm preparing for GATE ME for higher studies

Placement Experience:

If one wants direct placements in comapnies such as Wipro, Cognizant, Hexaware, TCS and many more, SIT is the place. Highest is still unbeatable as one student in 2023 got a paycheck of 50 lakhs per annum from SIT. Even the average is over 10 lakhs now as most students are placed through SIT placements cell.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum is also good and it is explained in detail on the college's website and there are labs for the courses which made learning fast and easy. Relevance(industry alignment)->8/10 The curriculum is designed to keep up with the industry needs especially in fast growing fields like computer science, management, design and pharmacy. Updated course such as AI, machine learning, cybersecurity, data science and 3D printing are included for tech students. Industry exposure depends on the students initiative it's not equally strong in every department. Comprehensiveness-> 7.5/10 First year courses focus on building strong basics in science, mathematics and communication skills. Later semesters introduce specialisation, electives, research projectsand soft skill training. The curriculum also includes personality development, entrepreneurship and innovation modules. A few departments could integrate new technologies fatser into the syllabus. I applied to Ramdeobaba, G.H.Raisoni , Sipna, YCCE. Got confirmed admisssion for all the colleges except Ramdeobaba. YCCE offers better teaching and placements as compared to other colleges in this list. I got rejected in Ramdeobaba due to the cut-off percentage being too high and me not being able to fullfil it.
