Course Curriculum Overview

This course provides us with technical education which is very much important for a technical student. There are around 14500 students in 1st year B. Tech 2022-23 batch and around 150 teachers are engaged for teaching.

Class Size: 71Course Fees: INR 98000 per year

Placement Experience

The placement of ycce is almost better. A student pursuing the 7th semester is eligible for placement. During YCCE Placements 2022, 68 recruiters visited the campus. Some of the past recruiters of YCCE are Amadeus, Amazon, Deloitte, JP Morgan Chase & Co, Capgemini India Pvt Ltd etc. During the placement drive, 1466 students were placed with 1466 Placement offers.

Fees and Financial Aid

There are different fees structure for different categories like obc, open, sc, and nt. The actual fee of ycce is 1,75,000. As I am an Obc category student I have to give 98000 and the remaining amount is paid by government scholarship(mahadbt).

Campus Life

The campus of ycce is very large about 14 acres which includes a library, canteen, workshops, and labs. We have an annual fest called YASH it is a very big event. Almost the whole college takes part in the event many clubs are there which organize various competition exhibitions which are organized by the students.

Admission

The admission process is easy. Candidate with 10+2 grade (science) and MHCET or JEE is eligible for admission. I have applied for admission through Cet cell, one can also apply through the college website, the application fee is around 1000.

Placement Experience:

From 7th Sem, students are eligible for placements and undergo placement training. Many companies has visited so far but the big ones are Godrej, BEL, Framatome, etc. The highest package for mechanical was 7.5 LPA and the avg package was around 5 LPA with a majority of job roles as GET. Almost 95% students are placed. I'm preparing for GATE ME for higher studies

Placement Experience:

If one wants direct placements in comapnies such as Wipro, Cognizant, Hexaware, TCS and many more, SIT is the place. Highest is still unbeatable as one student in 2023 got a paycheck of 50 lakhs per annum from SIT. Even the average is over 10 lakhs now as most students are placed through SIT placements cell.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum is also good and it is explained in detail on the college's website and there are labs for the courses which made learning fast and easy. Relevance(industry alignment)->8/10 The curriculum is designed to keep up with the industry needs especially in fast growing fields like computer science, management, design and pharmacy. Updated course such as AI, machine learning, cybersecurity, data science and 3D printing are included for tech students. Industry exposure depends on the students initiative it's not equally strong in every department. Comprehensiveness-> 7.5/10 First year courses focus on building strong basics in science, mathematics and communication skills. Later semesters introduce specialisation, electives, research projectsand soft skill training. The curriculum also includes personality development, entrepreneurship and innovation modules. A few departments could integrate new technologies fatser into the syllabus. Practical v/s theoretical balance: Labs, workshops and real world projects are a core part of the structure, especially in engineering, design, and science programs. I applied to Ramdeobaba, G.H.Raisoni , Sipna, YCCE. Got confirmed admisssion for all the colleges except Ramdeobaba. YCCE offers better teaching and placements as compared to other colleges in this list. I got rejected in Ramdeobaba due to the cut-off percentage being too high and me not being able to fullfil it.
