Likes

Faculty and return of investment is good here.
The library is good there are lots of books.

Dislikes

The placement is not up to the mark but improvement is there.
The sports facilities are not good we need more of it.
The campus is small and it's only for girls.

Course Curriculum Overview

I chose this course cause I like the hardware. There are enough faculty and they are good enough and well qualified. The teaching method is very nice and effective. The terms exams are difficult but if we work and study properly we can easily pass it.

Placement Experience

Placements are average. From the 6th semester we are eligible for placements and there are companies and pool campus placements. About all of us get placed but most of the students opt for higher studies.

Fees and Financial Aid

There are lots of opportunities and scholarships for students here. The faculty members are supportive and help in case we need any help. The fee hike has not been a problem so far and the cost of study is not bad.

Campus Life

The campus life is not so good but it is peaceful. Fest initiative is now been taken and it's a good thing. The library is good and we get all the books we need. Sports facilities are horrible we barely get to play.

Admission

The admission process was easy here. We get here through Jee mains or 12th board for the state government students. The application fee was 2000. There is a reservation for some students. The admission process is nice and easy.

my complete experience at WIT

Compared to private colleges like VIT or SRM, the overall fee structure and also it is government college much more affordable and government colleges have much more priorities. I missed cutoff of jee mains by a small margine and couldn't secure a seat in top tier colleges. also, private colleges are very expensive. I applied for Delhi University and I took admission in uttrakhand technical university because this college is government approved. No i didn't get rejection from other colleges but didn't got enough score to take admission in Delhi University.
