Course Curriculum Overview

I have chosen this course to explore more about the computer and growing technology. The Faculty members are very helpful and their teaching methods are unique and easy to understand. The Exams are conducted in a fair manner.

Almost 100 companies visit for the campus placement. These companies are from different industries from manufacturing industries to IT-based companies. College gives a lot of opportunities for in-campus placement, grabbing it is our thing.

Fees and Financial Aid

For the open category, the fees are supposed to be one lakh approximately 60 thousand Indian rupees. It varies according to the caste categories. For scheduled castes and scheduled tribes, the fee is only 13 thousand and 4 hundred rupees. And other categories also have variations in fees.

Campus Life

The campus life so far is the best. It provides all the facilities for student development including curriculum and co-curriculum. There are almost 15 to 20 clubs for the students to showcase their skills and talents. Many seminars and workshops are conducted on the college premises.

Admission

To admit, we first applied for the common entrance exam of physics, chemistry, and maths, then through the cap rounds, we are allotted the college with the branch eligible according to the percentage of cet examination.

Placement Experience:

From 7th Sem, students are eligible for placements and undergo placement training. Many companies has visited so far but the big ones are Godrej, BEL, Framatome, etc. The highest package for mechanical was 7.5 LPA and the avg package was around 5 LPA with a majority of job roles as GET. Placement Experience:

If one wants direct placements in comapnies such as Wipro, Cognizant, Hexaware, TCS and many more, SIT is the place. Highest is still unbeatable as one student in 2023 got a paycheck of 50 lakhs per annum from SIT. Even the average is over 10 lakhs now as most students are placed through SIT placements cell.

Course curriculum is also good and it is explained in detail on the college's website and there are labs for the courses which made learning fast and easy. Relevance(industry alignment)->8/10 The curriculum is designed to keep up with the industry needs especially in fast growing fields like computer science, management, design and pharmacy. Updated course such as AI, machine learning, cybersecurity, data science and 3D printing are included for tech students. Industry exposure depends on the students initiative it's not equally strong in every department. I applied to Ramdeobaba, G.H.Raisoni , Sipna, YCCE. Got confirmed admisssion for all the colleges except Ramdeobaba. YCCE offers better teaching and placements as compared to other colleges in this list. I got rejected in Ramdeobaba due to the cut-off percentage being too high and me not being able to fullfil it.
