I like the enviroment that my college provides. I also like the faculty that my college provides for my course that is Electronics and Communication engineering.

Dislikes

I dont dislike any thing about my college as i havent experienced any misconduction from my part from my college. However one thing that i dislike about my college is that the canteen is a little bit small and a bit crowdy.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course that I am pursuing right now is Electronics and communication engineering and I chose this particular course as I wanted diversity in my field of studies and this course provided me with all I wanted and hence I opted for it. The faculties are good, they are helpful.

Placement Experience

Many very renounced companies approach out college like wipro, tata steel, and much more others. I do however apply for these companies and got very good reviews according to the interviewers and am really happy with the placement structure.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure is pretty good and very budget-friendly. For my B.Tech degree I just had to pay 3.5 lakhs which is a lot less than the other semi-government colleges in my city. I am very happy with the financial assistance of my college regarding fees. Scholarships are caste-based and based on family income.

Campus Life

I enjoy my stay at college. It has really nice surroundings and very collaborative faculty with which you can interact on a friendly basis and on an academic basis too. They do provide a very intellectual aura. There are various programs held. The classrooms are good. Different sports are placed.

Admission

Applicants need to register for the WBJEE by filling out an online application form on the official WBJEE website. After the application process candidates need to fill up the application including personal details and academic details. They will be provided with the exam and the examination center details and the dates for the same. They also need to provide their documents and pictures which are required on the website itself.

Interview Experience

Yes, I had many group discussions about the latest development in today's industry and technology. I thoroughly enjoyed my group discussion sessions, which were informative and intellectual. I also participated myself in a lot of interviews for the companies which my college was providing.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is very relevant and useful for us.They teach data structures algorithm that is very important for college placements and they also teach os, networks and other usefull things that is very important in computer science.They provide very high quality labs and the whole college has a good internet connection.Tecahers are very educated and good they helps us and teaching in very good way .The exams time schedule is also very good if there is any problem the college will change the exam date that is really a good thing.

Story of hit

Placement Experience:

The campus placement from recently past years is slightly good . Like tcs infosys cognizant ibm Capgemini like companies comes every year with good placement and capsitech gives you internship from 3 year . From 7th sem you are eligible for campus placement in 2025 the avg package is 5-7 lpa and Highest lpa is 75lpa . My plan is getting good job in good company

Placement Experience:

7th semester is when the students get to sit for placements. I am not sure about the total no of companies visited but I am aware of the name of few companies like IBM Infosys Wipro Capsitech Tech Mahindra cognizant etc . Mostly the girls are 100 percent placed cause there is diversity hiring. Mass recruiters is what visit our campus mostly.. I personally would look for a job after graduation highest package offered displayed by college is 75 lpa but I don't think so it is real. Maybe someone had worked hard and got placed off campus. On campus highest isbi guess 12-14 lpa

Course Curriculum Overview:

- I choose Data Science as it is new to my college when comparing with the other branches. The curriculum is just okay it is not per industry standards but if students deep drives in each aspects then they are likely to crack GATE exams. - The whole curriculum needs and improvement from the very 1st Year and removal of irrelevant subjects like Discrete Mathematics, Electonics, Biology for IT branches are required. - Semester exams are conducted every 6 months and CTs are conducted every 2 months

NIT Durgapur:-A wholesome Insight in the college life and it's different aspects

Placement Experience:

For campus placements student become eligible from the 7th semester onwards and for internships student get eligible from 5th semester onwards. Wide no of companies visited our campus around 180+ and made around 580+ offers to the students. The highest salary was 58LPA which was offered by DE Shaw and the highest accepted salary was 51LPA in Microsoft.The average package rolls roughly around 10-12 LPA.The profile offered include SDE roles, management roles,finance in some cases.The overall placement percentage was around 80% with Branches like electrical and metallurgy moving above 90% followed by CSE and ECE in the mid 80s while for biotech and civil the placement percentage are generally below 70.My plans after getting the degree is to land a job offer from on campus placements.Therefafter maybe look out for and MBA from top B schools of india.

My College Experience Uncovered.

The main reason behind choosing the college over other colleges is it's electrical department's history. The electrical department has received many awards, certificates for the projects development. There was a time when the college had 120 students in the electrical department. Making it one of the highest in the state.
