Course Curriculum Overview

I have chosen the course of electronics and telecommunication n because of my passion. Faculty in this telecollege for this branch is well qualified. Many experienced teachers are funded. Exams happen every semester. In between unit tests are carried out.

Class Size: 66Course Fees: INR 87000 per year

Placement Experience

From the 7th semester, students can intern in companies through the colleges and also in the 8th-semester students are placed in the companies through on-campus and off-campus placements. Many companies like TCS, Capgemini, Amazon, Infosys, and Wipro visit our college for campus placements. The highest package of our college was recently about 30 LPA but off campus and on campus is 10 LPA. The average package is 6 LPA In our college. My plans our of getting a placement in a good tech company with a decent package.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees for this college are around 88000 per year. If you have any benefits of EWS or EBC then you have to pay only 50000 per year. And other caste reservation also affects the fees for them. For NT, ST students' fees stand for 2000 only. Average fees around 4 years stand for below 4 lakhs

Campus Life

The campus of this college is very good You can see greenery everywhere. The campus is decorated with lots of trees. There are a total of 3 buildings on campus. A separate building is situated for the mechanical department. A separate building is situated for law and Polytechnique studies. Social events are organised very nicely. Sports events occur every year. lots of sports are included in that digital class boards are provided in every classroom

Hostel Facilities

College hostel has very limited seats,and it is available only for 1st year students...each room has 2 sharing beds.attach toilet and bathroom. Many private hostels are located infront of college itself..food quality is average and eatable. Many options are available for food to taste.

Hostel Fee: INR 16000 per year

Admission

The entrance exam needed to take admitted to this college is MHT CET. There are 10 seats reserved for management. Percentile between 83 to 90 can look for CSE seats in this college. Placements for the CSE branch are good. You can apply very easily in campgrounds and get admission.

Placement Experience:

From 7th Sem, students are eligible for placements and undergo placement training. Many companies has visited so far but the big ones are Godrej, BEL, Framatome, etc. The highest package for mechanical was 7.5 LPA and the avg package was around 5 LPA with a majority of job roles as GET. Almost 95% students are placed. I'm preparing for GATE ME for higher studies

Placement Experience:

If one wants direct placements in comapnies such as Wipro, Cognizant, Hexaware, TCS and many more, SIT is the place. Highest is still unbeatable as one student in 2023 got a paycheck of 50 lakhs per annum from SIT. Even the average is over 10 lakhs now as most students are placed through SIT placements cell.

Course curriculum is also good and it is explained in detail on the college's website and there are labs for the courses which made learning fast and easy. Relevance(industry alignment)->8/10 The curriculum is designed to keep up with the industry needs especially in fast growing fields like computer science, management, design and pharmacy. Updated course such as AI, machine learning, cybersecurity, data science and 3D printing are included for tech students. Industry exposure depends on the students initiative it's not equally strong in every department. Comprehensiveness-> 7.5/10 First year courses focus on building strong basics in science, mathematics and communication skills. Later semesters introduce specialisation, electives, research projectsand soft skill training. The curriculum also includes personality development, entrepreneurship and innovation modules. I choose this college especially for mechanical engineering, because it has really good placement for our branch. Another reason why I applied here is that it is near my house location. In Navi Mumbai locality Father agnels college is better than our college. If you didn't get admission in father agnels college than you can apply in our college for admission. For admission you can give jee and MHT cet exams. The eligibility criteria for MHT cet is 70 percentile for mechanical engineering, 80-85 percentile for information technology and 90-95 percentile for computer science....Read More
