What Students Say
Likes
- I like placement in our i.t. field. Every year around 70 % student got placed.
- I also like campus of our collage . Our collage has huge campus area.
- Our collage has renovated building for all departments.
Dislikes
- I disliked about our collage hostel . It is not in good condition.
- I don't like some of food in our canteen.
Course Curriculum Overview
- I choose this course because I will become a software engineer. - We have a total of 17 faculties and the total of the all-year students is 650. - Faculties are well educated and all have 10+ years of experience in their particular subject of this field. - Exam is on their time but somehow many times exams are delayed because of elections etc.
Internships Opportunities
There are so many companies like Tatvasoft, Cybercom, HCl, Adani, Reliance, Byju's, etc. They provide internship opportunities for students and if Student' s performance well during internship then they provide jo offer.
Placement Experience
Our college placement is well. In other branches like civil, mechanical, and electrical placement is moderate but in our i.t. field placement is quite good. There are around 30-36 companies arrive every year for placement. In our i.t. field average placement ratio is around 70-73%.
Fees and Financial Aid
Shantilal Shah Engineering College is Government College so it takes very less fees compared to private colleges. The average study cost in college is around 6000 per year. I got a scholarship from Digital Gujarat. It is around 5000 rupees. My friend who has above 80 pr in HSC, applied for a MYSY scholarship. MYSY give more scholarship than Digital Gujarat.
Campus Life
In our college, we celebrate cultural fest and sports week. During these events, we can participate in many activities. My college has a good library setup. There are all books available for all courses. On campus, our college has one broad cricket ground and a volleyball ground. The Techno club is run by Information technology students.
Hostel Facilities
The college hostel is the worst. There are no proper facilities available in our college hostel. Our college is now getting old and needs to renovate. So I and all my classmate live in PGs or Samra's hostel or private hostel.
Admission
The admission process for my college is based on. Average of gujcet and HSC 12th board percentage. Then log in to the ACPC website which is a common website of the government of Gujarat for college admission. Then government declares mock round and round 1, and round 2. This round is based on a merit list. You have to fill out this round and choice your college. If your rank is under merit then you can get admission on that collage otherwise you can looking for different collage or different courses.
