Course Curriculum Overview

As long as we consider that textbook knowledge is not real world knowledge, and that is 100% true. So in this case, the college helped a lot and provided a thermal power plant at Wanakbori, Gujarat for the students.

Internships Opportunities

Gnfc,Dipak fertilizer,L and T industry, Schneider electric whichever companies offered under internship.this companies give a big opportunity to gec Bharuch students to work on his companies and gate better knowledge and experience and skills development.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure of GEC was similar to that of government engineering colleges in Gujarat. It ranged from Rs. to Rs. 1800 per year on a semester basis. The fee was to be paid on a semester basis after the completion of each semester.

Campus Life

Campus life at GEC is amazing. The college has clubs like Mechanical Engineering Student Association, GEC Rocketry Team, NCC cadets are also trained and students are exposed to literature, art and English.Many social activities are started to create awareness about the language too! The technical facilities and classrooms are not up to the mark compared to private institutions but in terms of conditions And it is very acceptable to work better. Sports activities are also carried out, and social activities such as helping blind students as writers, etc. are also conducted by the students is done by groups.

Admission

GEC is one of the best colleges in Gujarat. It is ranked second among government colleges in Gujarat and is ranked first after LD College of Engineering. Every student studying in class 10th is eligible for 12th in Gujarat.

Faculty

Well qualified teachers are teaching in every department of the college. Teachers with PhD, Masters from IIT and NIT are giving a lot of guidance to the students and instilling the spirit of knowledge in the lives of the students.

Night Life

I didn't celebrate any nightlife because I always went home after completing my college. But my friends who lived in the hostel always used to hang around because there were a lot of cafeterias, restaurants nearby There are, like to celebrate a small event like someone clearing a backlog, passing an exam with good grades, etc. Hostels have strict timings.

The placement in by branch are good enough in last year 2024 a student got package of nearly 42 lakh per year from computer branch. The average package in computer branch is nearly 10 to 12 LPA . Different companies visits our college to give placement to the students. The major companies ask about the students who have 8 + CGPA . Students become eligible from the 7th semester itself for campus placements. The collge gives perfect data of the student who are placed in different different companies.in year 2023 88% of the students were succcessufully placed in companies.Including all branches average package was of 7 LPA but for computer science students the average package was 10 to 12 LPA.In petrochemical branches the highest package was 24 LPA . and average package was nearly about 6.5LPA.The IT companies such as Google , Microsoft, Reliance , TATA visiits the college to give placement to the students of computer science.The total of 550 +students got the offer from various companies from all branches of btech and nearly 175 companies visited to the campus of the collegeAfter i get the degree the college pdeu i wil do the job for 2 to 3 years in some good companies after that my plan is to do startup means i want to start my buissness such as making an app , etc.. In PDEU the number of students getting placed are good enough even students getting good offcampus packages than oncampus becaus the student become capable of doing work or finding good work. There are some of the students not getting the jobs on campus they try offcampus and thy get the job.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I wanted to be able to code which i really liked as i opted computer science in my optional in 10th. Itm provided international certifications and good subjects which later were changed and then no international certifications were done due to covid. The basic faculty to student ration was probably 1:10 . for every 10 students there was a faculty atleast for btech because it was only 50 students in our whole batch so there were no sections. All of our teaching faculty kept changing in each semester and basically were not qualified enough as some did not even complete masters or gave a gate exam. The teaching proscess were horrible because there were no computer facility provided and it was a scam to go to college for practicals because we would just play outside. no laptops allowed and there were no wifi spots to use net in our computer labs. The exams were also a pretty bad organised mess because they did not know what to teach in recurring subjects.
