BIT Sindri from Top to Bottom

For taking admission in Bit sindri you'll have to qualify JEE mains exam. A percentile of 93 and above is enough for a general candidate. Reservation for SC/ ST and OBC are also available at a much lesser percentile. A different domain for admission is used that is JCECB where students fill choices for different colleges in jharkhand and BIT ranks top in them so the highest ranking person would get the admission in BIT. A new CML rank is prepared for that. Even the exams are quite easy and periodic here. I applied to this college through JEE Mains. At a score of 140 and 94 percentile, I got this college. The counseling was done online along with sending original documents to the college and online verification on Google Meet. The marks vary for each quota. For the general category, it is nearly 120-140 in JEE Mains. A person should be a minimum of 17 years in age. Students were given 5 days of reporting online through google meet along with original documents to be shown to the concerned authority. There was also scope for up-gradation of the branch. I was a jee aspirant but I was not able to clear even the mains examination. Then I filled form of JCECE and got a CML rank of 479. I finally got admission from the general quota.The counselling was held at JCECEB, Namkom, Ranchi. We have paid the counseling fee through challan. On the day of counseling, college and branch were allotted on basis of common merit list rank. After the seat was locked we paid the seat locking fee through the swipe machine kept inside the room.
