Course Curriculum Overview

I choose engineering because I have an interest in new technology. The faculty in our college is well qualified (B.E., M.TECH, P.HD) and helpful they make the concept easy for the students with the help of their innovative teaching methods also they give us study material and handwritten notes that help us to clarify our difficulties. The exam in our college are some difficult but sometimes it is easy to pass.

Class Size: 34Course Fees: INR 99035 per year

Placement Experience

After the exam of the 7th semester, students are eligible for placement (if they have no current backlogs)while appearing for the placements. The companies like WIPRO, TCS, IBM, L&T, JSW, ADANI, and many other companies come for recruitment. The average package is 5.4 lpa and the highest package is 14 lpa almost 80 to 85 % of students get placed in IT as well as the CORE sector with good packages.

Fees and Financial Aid

The college provides an installment facility for the students for fee payment and those students who registered with the CAP admission process get a scholarship (concession in tuition fees and other benefits ) from the government and those who are admitted through institution quota (management) have to pay full fees.

Campus Life

The college conducts the annual fest in the month of April and the name of that fest is ‘YASH’ and also conducts some technical as well as a sports event. The college has a good library facility where students can issue books for study and also provide an e-library facility where students can download journal materials and e-books.

Admission

For For the eligibility criteria, you must pass the 12th board higher secondary exam (PCM) group with at least 70% and you must have to qualify the MHT-CET exam after that examination centralized admission process start, in that you have to fill in your required qualification details and you have to set preference for the colleges and branch. For the reservation benefits, you must have your caste certificate.

The Overall experience of an average student

Placement Experience:

7th semester or 4th year makes you eligible for internships and placements. NVIDIA visits our college often i don't know much about the placements as im only in first year but yes the eligibility for the placement is over CGPA which eliminates a lot of students during the placements nearly ~75% of the students get placed (including off and in campus) the other 20% pursue higher studies the other 5% go for start ups

Placement Experience:

The placements offered by COEP are simply great. The percentage of placements in overall department is from 72 to 100% . The student are eligible as they get in 2nd year . The companies that visited are wipro , infosys, mircosoft and core companies like tata motors, mahindra, Bajaj auto , emerson, asian paint , bosch. Bajaj even has there school of automobile openned in COEP. Highest package is 87 LPAand the average package is 12 LPA. You only need skills to crack the interview percentage does matter in some height the minimum percentage required is 65-70 . As COEP offers best placements I planned on getting campus placement as well

I had applied many engineering colleges in Nagpur including GH Raisoni, Priyadarshini, Ramdeo Baba College, KDK college etc. i got the admission letter from GH raisoni but i go for YCCE college because it has good reputation and goo placements compared to other collges in nagpur. I applied to Ramdeobaba, G.H.Raisoni , Sipna, YCCE. Got confirmed admisssion for all the colleges except Ramdeobaba. YCCE offers better teaching and placements as compared to other colleges in this list. I got rejected in Ramdeobaba due to the cut-off percentage being too high and me not being able to fullfil it.
