It's great here in Heritage Institute of Technology.

Our college secured 113rd position across the nation. Only 25 years and it made so big. It will soon be counted as best private engineering college in Kolkata. Campus is heaven.

I gave WBJEE as entrance examination. My college is among the best engineering college in West Bengal. There wasn't an interview process. I chose mechanical because machine are my passion.

Mechanical is one of the best core department. We have various workshops, labs, etc which focuses on practical learning.

The college provides summer and winter internship. I haven't done it yet. The stipend amount depends upon contacts. But its great to have exposure and widen our horizon of thinking.

This year the placement scenario was not good if we compare it with last years statistics. But around 65% of students were placed. The major company were TCS, Infosys, Bosch,etc. Average package was 3.75 lakhs.

Technical fest - Daksh Cultural Fest - ECLECIA Musical Fest - Heritage Music Festival. Our fest are huge and this year we had a footfall of 6000 people in ECLECIA. It was highly organised and each student gave his 100% to make the event successful.

The fees here per semester is approximately Rs. 45000 and it can be considered very affordable. The overall fees of the four year course can be taken as rupees 4.5 lakhs.

Yes the college provides scholarship. No I didn't avail any. No college do not helps in taking loan.

Our college also focuses on extra curricular activities. Yes I got ampel opportunity to explore my inner talents.

No I wasn't residing in hostel. The hostels are great if we compare it with other government colleges. There are both single and sharing rooms available here. We also have students who live as PG. I don't know about the pay much but its affordable. Food is so-so. Obviously it cannot match with "Ghar ka khana".

It totally depends upon an individual the amount of labs and classes he can attend in a single day. Required attendance is 60% so it is chill culture for people who are not interested in the class lectures and notes.

Heritage provides great teachers and professors. Some of them are even authors of famous academic books. Teachers are interactive and try every possible to help us. Standard of teaching can be considered good.
