Likes
- Mess food was amazing. One do not get such variety of foods in the college mess. Specially Daal, Roti, Brownie, Biryani is too good.
- College provides all the sports facilities as it has Cricket ground, Hockey/ Football ground, Volleyball court, basketball court, badminton court. It has a common room which has pool, snooker, billiards.
Dislikes
- Placement cell could be more effective for LLM students. Placement is good for undergraduates but not as effective for postgraduates.
- Jindal is known for its liberty and freedom. But from last one year it has become very strict on terms of entry. One has to go through breath analyser, sniffer dogs. Which is threatening.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course is designed in a way that gives us global exposure. One can clear the exam by studying for 3-4 nights before the exam. The syllabus will give you immense knowledge and ensure you are placed rightly at law firms.
Internships Opportunities
The college has a tie-up with all the top-tier law firms like Khaitan, Bharucha & Bharucha, DSK Legal, and Trilegal. So placement and internship both opportunities are quite good. It can however increase the number of opportunities for LLM people as it is for undergraduates. To the best of my knowledge, I can say that the success ratio is 50%.
Placement Experience
The college offers placements on Zero Day which is organized in the very first month of college life. Students have to be active and alert while applying for jobs. One has to be in touch with the placement cell authority from the very start.
Fees and Financial Aid
The tuition fee is 3,50,000 and the Residential fee is 3,50,000. It covers Stay, food, laundry charges, and other amenities. If one has an exceptional score in the CLAT exam, they get a scholarship according to that.
Campus Life
The university will give you global exposure. One thing is I liked that the university is couple friendly. It has all the sports facilities- like Cricket nets, football/ Hockey ground, Basketball and volleyball court, and badminton court. It has a swimming pool as well which is not open after the COVID-19 scene.
Admission
I took the Clat exam and got admission to the university. The college also has its own entrance exam, you can appear for that as well. You can check more about the admission process on the College website itself.
