Entrance Preview

Entrance here is through all india level exam known as Clat. This college is under the top5 nlus of india. And this nlu has the best jnfrastruce out of all the nlus. This made me choose the course

Course Curriculum Overview

Course here provided is a 5 year course which is BA LLB. Institute also have several committees and different forums to help children in every field.

Internships Opportunities

College has an internship cell which helps you in getting intern all over the India. Also they issue a recommendation letter so that it can help you in gwtting internship

Placement Experience

Placement is here is okayish. 6 out of 10 gets placed wvery year. Also we get PPO from last 3 years. Highest package offered here is 18 laks

Fee Structure And Facilities

Annual fee is 2 lakh rs include hostel accomodation and tuition fees. Regarding the field of law fees is really affordable.

Hostel is a twin sharing room and it is very clean and their is 24*7 running water provision. Also hot water is provided

Most of the faculty is either passed from punjabi university patiala or from punjab university chandigarh. All the teachers hold a degree of phd and are very thorough with what they teach. They share a bond with every child they teach. Standard of teaching is quite different here as teachers are least concern if you attend class or not

Chandigarh University - A Great College Experience

Placement Experience:

In our college student become elgible for placement from 9th semester onwards i.e the second last semester. Many law firms and private companies and banks visit our colege like HDFC bank,HCL and many private firms and offers range from 4LPA to 6LPA. The highest package offered in our department was of 21LPA and average package is 3.5-4LPA. About 50-60% students get campus placements and rest opt for private consultation on out of campus interviews for better oppurtunities. Otherwise CU give gives guarantee they can get 100% placemn=ent of they go through TPA i.e the placement department After getting the degree I aspire to join law firm in my own family and work under the.

Remarks:

I went for taking my character certificate which is required while enroll in Bar council of India. The principal and two other teachers were gossiping so I had to wait for 3 hours to get their sign.

The Comprehensive Overview of RGNUL

The choosing of RGNUL, was the result of CLAT examination counselling, as after taking CLAT, based on my rank I was having the opportunity to select the RGNUL or NLU Patna, but RGNUL was chosen by me because of its previous establishment and more placement opportunities in comparison to the NLU Patna. Though RGNUL cannot be said a dream college of mine, because I wanted to be admitted to NLU Bhopal, which was close to my house, due to insufficient CLAT Rank I was not able to be admitted at NLU Bhopal. Talking about the admission process at RGNUL the same is done through the CLAT counselling process where after giving the National Level entrance exam of CLAT, you are allotted various NLU's based on your rank and on the same lines RGNUL is allotted to the students nationally based on their specific rank...Read More

RGNUL is not bad as it is said to be

RGNUL has always been my top preference as it is the only NLU in Punjab. Since it's an NLU, you have to give CLAT exam and get a rank between 500-1300. For SC it is 4k-8k, for ST 9k-15k. The reason I wanted to get into RGNUL is because of it's hostels as it's their USP. You gotta live there for 5 years, living space should be good....Read More
