IIT Roorkee Review

I choose this course because it's a dual degree so I'll have my Mtech done in just 5 years. And I wanted to explore this field. Also In future, I will like to do field work and this course is perfect for field work jobs. About the faculty here the thing is the faculty is so experienced and talented. IIT's faculty: student ratio is very good. And also the TA's: student ratio is quite nice as compared to the other colleges. The faculty qualification is very much satisfying for the students here. The faculty here also has so much experience, there are some professors who are teaching here for more than 20 years. Also that the professor here have experienced everything in their life as they had been in jobs, research etc. So they have explored all fields. The Alumni of our college are just mind-blowing. Our professors have patents in almost every field. About the exams, there are 2 exams in a semester one is mid-term and the second is End term. It's easy to pass exams but.

Look the fees in IITs is average you can expect from a college. My course fee is around 2.8 lakh rupees per annum ( one year or 2 semesters). There are a lot of scholarships provided at IIT Roorkee. Also, you can get an interest-free loan for each and every IIT from a government scheme. Also, there is a tuition fee waiver for economically backward classes depending on their annual income. Also, there is a scholarship depending on your academic performance so if you are good in academics and need financial assistance you can get scholarships easily. Also, there is a scholarship name James Thomas scholarship based on your JEE advance, the student who has ranked below 250 and gets admission to IIT Roorkee is eligible for this scholarship. About the Campus jobs and internships, if you have skills you will definitely get placed. There are a lot of companies including Microsoft, uber, sprinklr etc (some big companies )which come in intern and placement season and take tests and interviews.

The best part of the college is its fests like thomso and cogni where there are DJ nights, concerts and more exciting things for you to enjoy your social life. Thomso is a cultural fest and Cogni is a tech fest. The social life is so good. IIT Roorkee Sports is one of the best among all the IITs. There are technical clubs and cultural clubs that are very helpful in giving exposure to the students that other institutes can't.

JEE Main and JEE Advance are the National level exams conducted every year in India for admission into undergraduate engineering programmes offered by various prestigious institutes including IITs. The form for the JEE Mains can be found on the official website of the National Testing Agency (NTA) which is the conducting body for JEE Mains.
