Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum and faculty members are good but in the previous year there is a lack of staff members in our course which is mechanical and when there is only 1 month left for the semester they provide us with the teacher but except everything is good

Placements in our campus is a little weak there maximum package for any student is 500000/- LPA and frankly majorly small companies came there and when it comes to salary its very low around 15000/month the amount which is nowdays a stall vendor can make easily so what is the difference between us and them one is giving 4yrs and money investing his time Money and energy and one is ill literate and just open a stall ?

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees structure is strict suppose you have not cleared the fees for the academic session before the semester exam they won't allow you the hall ticket for the exam you have to manage the money from somewhere specially when it comes to the transportation fees which too high they charge 23000/- for transportation fees for college buses and once you sign the contract you have to pay the full amount whether you're using the college bus or not

Campus Life

Life at the campus is pretty boring there are no students present strength only 10% of students attend the college regularly. They usually celebrate NCC and NSS.

Admission

The process of admission is simple and have to give the exam of Mhtcet for admission and have to fill out the admission form they provide you with the admission number and they are very flexible and good.

Placement Experience:

From 7th Sem, students are eligible for placements and undergo placement training. Many companies has visited so far but the big ones are Godrej, BEL, Framatome, etc. The highest package for mechanical was 7.5 LPA and the avg package was around 5 LPA with a majority of job roles as GET. Almost 95% students are placed. I'm preparing for GATE ME for higher studies

Placement Experience:

If one wants direct placements in comapnies such as Wipro, Cognizant, Hexaware, TCS and many more, SIT is the place. Highest is still unbeatable as one student in 2023 got a paycheck of 50 lakhs per annum from SIT. Even the average is over 10 lakhs now as most students are placed through SIT placements cell.

Course curriculum is also good and it is explained in detail on the college's website and there are labs for the courses which made learning fast and easy. Relevance(industry alignment)->8/10 The curriculum is designed to keep up with the industry needs especially in fast growing fields like computer science, management, design and pharmacy. Updated course such as AI, machine learning, cybersecurity, data science and 3D printing are included for tech students. Industry exposure depends on the students initiative it's not equally strong in every department. Comprehensiveness-> 7.5/10 First year courses focus on building strong basics in science, mathematics and communication skills. Later semesters introduce specialisation, electives, research projectsand soft skill training. The curriculum also includes personality development, entrepreneurship and innovation modules. A few departments could integrate new technologies fatser into the syllabus. Nice curriculum in my cource in first year 6 subject are there which are maths chemistry physical engineering drawing and mining geology classes and approx length of each class is 55 min which is nice

Insightful Vision for Nagpur Institute of Technology

The admission process was offline as the student need to visit the campus physically to complete the admission process. There are both ways like getting admission directly to the college and by the CAP-rounds also. The CAP round admission are done through the MHTCET exam that is conducted by the State of Maharastra. If the student belong to Maharastra state and the domicile is of Maharastra only then they get the concession in the college fee. The admission process starts in the Month of May-June only. Each semester is of 6 months within that there are 2 Mid-sessional papers, 1 Pre-University paper and 1 Internal practical exams is conducted by the college and the Semester exam and the External practical is conducted as per the nagpur university guidelines. Good but students and faculty needs to be improved

I was given MH-CET entrance to get admission. The cutoff was high in comparison to other branches. But I got the eligibility criteria and also had category benefits in the cutoffs. The college itself provided everything from the application form to assisting with the admission process. But as an improvement, I think that multiple forms and repetition should be considered because many people come from very long distances so it should be convenient for them too....Read More
