What Students Say

Likes

The HOD and faculty members of the department of psychology are very motivating. There are a lot of feild works and workshops organised in the department.
The NSS unut in the university is very active. Cleanliness drives are organised on a regular basis.

Dislikes

The university does not have it's own NCC unit and there is no scope of joining any other unit as the university is almost 30 kms away from the city.
There is no market area near university so we have to go to the city (30 kms) to buy everything.

Course Curriculum Overview

I am from the Psychology department and I can say that the department is trying its best to provide quality education and skill training to students. The faculty-to-student ratio is also healthy and students are taught by high calibre faculty members.

Class Size: 35Course Fees: INR 18000 per year

Internships Opportunities

The university does not provide many options for internships. Students have to search for internships for themselves and sometimes they even have to pay for their internship. The university needs a lot of improvement in that regard.

Fees and Financial Aid

The university provides quality education to students at very reasonable fees but if the students are not able to pay the fees, there are several options available. OBC, SC, ST, and EWS Students can avail of the scholarships as per UGC guidelines.

Campus Life

Every department in the university has its own annual fest which is organized to increase student interaction. It is a great opportunity to get to know each other and socialize. Ankur Fest is a university-level fest that aims to increase sports and cultural participation among students. The campus seems like any other but it is actually very vibrant if you know where to seek the opportunities.

Hostel Facilities

The hostel and mess fees are very affordable. The living conditions are better in the newer hostels as compared to the older ones. Some rooms are overcrowded due to a shortage of rooms. The main problem starts during the rainy season with water leaking from different spots. Sometimes the food is also not good.

Hostel Fee: INR 35000 per year

Admission

We have to give CUCET exam to get admission. University accepts online admission forms only and the Admission process is smooth. There are several benefits given to individuals based on their category.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The specific aspects is that microbiology is a well developing scope of science in the world. We know how important this subject was when Covid had come to the world. It is related to this subject and find it's relevance everywhere. The course curriculum had started with basics of microbiology and microbial techniques later getting deeper into the subject. The syllabus is set by our college faculties and department head and it is very relevant for future studies. Improvement is needed in teaching methods. Otherwise it's a good place and subject. We get enough time to prepare and write the exams. The papers are usually not difficult if you've prepared we'll. It is on a moderate level.

I applied for a few Central University based on my entrance marks. But i couldn't able to make into other colleges due to shortage of marks.
