Likes

First of all I would like to mention the placement section and and teaching pattern is my one of liked thing in my college.
Second of all I would like to mention about the teachers and department pattern and their behaviour towards the student.
The third thing I would like to say here is that the college infrastructure and ground facilities.

Dislikes

First thing in this section which I will say is the course completion, teachers should be focus on here.
Second thing which I didn't liked here is the facilities for outer students.
And the third thing which I disliked is the campus life and behaviour of students in the college.

Course Curriculum Overview

I noticed a huge scope in this field or course and the branch in which I am in has a massive growth in our country so I decided to get enroll here. The faculty's staff is very good here, I am satisfied with their teaching. The Qualification of the faculty is at the Ph.D. Level.

Course Fees: INR 12050 per year

Internships Opportunities

In my college, I have a number of internship opportunities available right there on the campus. Companies like Salesforce, Eduskills foundation, coder fuel, etc. Here the projects are designed according to the branch and the interest of study to complete the task and it is compulsory.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure is very. clear and simple it is categorized according to the caste and on the basis of percentage. I am eligible for the VJNT POST MATRIC SCHOLARSHIP. My course fees: 12050 My Scholarship benefit amount is 5000.

Campus Life

This is one of the very interesting things in my college there are so many events we monthly conduct but the one which feels special is the annual fest ' PRATIBIMB ' we enjoyed it more than anything. The library structure seems so perfect here that every book we look for is available. The classroom in the college provides perfect view to the technology student, all the classrooms are digital.

Admission

I got my admission in btech through the entrance exam named mhtcet, I scored 61 percentile, The cutoff process is different in every college. Candidates must pass their 10+2 or equivalent exam with a minimum of 50 percent marks from a recognized institution. They must have majored in Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry in high school. The pupils must pass the entrance exam cut-off. Candidates seeking Lateral Entry into BTech.

Placement Experience:

From 7th Sem, students are eligible for placements and undergo placement training. Many companies has visited so far but the big ones are Godrej, BEL, Framatome, etc. The highest package for mechanical was 7.5 LPA and the avg package was around 5 LPA with a majority of job roles as GET. Placement Experience:

If one wants direct placements in comapnies such as Wipro, Cognizant, Hexaware, TCS and many more, SIT is the place. Highest is still unbeatable as one student in 2023 got a paycheck of 50 lakhs per annum from SIT. Even the average is over 10 lakhs now as most students are placed through SIT placements cell.

Course curriculum is also good and it is explained in detail on the college's website and there are labs for the courses which made learning fast and easy. Relevance(industry alignment)->8/10 The curriculum is designed to keep up with the industry needs especially in fast growing fields like computer science, management, design and pharmacy. Updated course such as AI, machine learning, cybersecurity, data science and 3D printing are included for tech students. Industry exposure depends on the students initiative it's not equally strong in every department. Comprehensiveness-> 7.5/10 First year courses focus on building strong basics in science, mathematics and communication skills. Insightful Vision for Nagpur Institute of Technology

The admission process was offline as the student need to visit the campus physically to complete the admission process. There are both ways like getting admission directly to the college and by the CAP-rounds also. The CAP round admission are done through the MHTCET exam that is conducted by the State of Maharastra. If the student belong to Maharastra state and the domicile is of Maharastra only then they get the concession in the college fee. The admission process starts in the Month of May-June only. Each semester is of 6 months within that there are 2 Mid-sessional papers, 1 Pre-University paper and 1 Internal practical exams is conducted by the college and the Semester exam and the External practical is conducted as per the nagpur university guidelines. Good but students and faculty needs to be improved

I was given MH-CET entrance to get admission. The cutoff was high in comparison to other branches. But I got the eligibility criteria and also had category benefits in the cutoffs. The college itself provided everything from the application form to assisting with the admission process. But as an improvement, I think that multiple forms and repetition should be considered because many people come from very long distances so it should be convenient for them too....Read More
