The faculties at the college are very good. Teachers are very patient with the students and have good knowledge of their subjects. Exams are not very difficult to pass if you have attended classes properly and studied.

Internships Opportunities

Internships and placements are provided at the campus. You will also get funding for your own projects if they are approved by the idea council of the college. Several creative activities are also held at the college and inter-college level.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees of the college are normally affordable. There are special scholarships for students who score well in their respective courses and belong to EWS. Scholarships are also available on the basis of your reservation.

Campus Life

The campus life is great. A lot of events and activities are organized on a regular basis in which you can participate or even volunteer on the organizing committee. You will also get certificates for your involvement. Books are available in the library.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel life is great. There will be 2 to 4 students in a room based on the room you are allotted. AC rooms are also available. There is also a gym, canteen, library, meditation room, computer rooms, and other facilities.

Admission

Admissions are taken on both merit basis as well as entrance test. The minimum eligibility is you should have passed your 10 + 2 examinations with a 45 % aggregate. You will get benefits on the basis of your reserved category and whether you belong to the UT pool ( if you have passed 10 + 2 from Chandigarh) or non-UT ( if you have passed 10 + 2 from outside ).

Course Curriculum Overview:

1. Flexibility of course and type it has to be done . For further academic pursuits definitely yes but for real world application as of now except computer application there is no real world application of this as of physics it is more derivation type topic is covered in the first semester as of now. I course should be designed to prepare for real world application not the old school craming and derivation type. Exam happen twice a year in april and in novembor-december and of moderate level

Course Curriculum Overview:

Being a Science student , I loved my curriculum as it provides application parts with laboratories . I choose this course as I always wanted to learn more about science and its various fields. For me overall curriculum is good and have moderate level but I would suggest to reduce the syllabus little bit so that most of the students can learn whole syllabus Exams are being conducted regularly as per the University guidelines.

DAV College does not offer strong campus placements for pure science courses like B.Sc. Biotechnology, The college has an active placement cell. In the science field, placements are rare unless you're in job-oriented programs

Admission:

forms were filled.various colleges were selected and then counselling was done in the post graduate government college for girls sector 11.college were assigned on the bases of merit then we have to go to the assigned colleges and then fees was submitted and then college began after one week of fees submission
