It's more expensive to study here , middle class family face many problems.campus is situated in outskirts of city which is a demerits.there is problem in transportation.

I choose this field to get a job with legal background. every college has a minimum of 120 students of total of per year. faculties are well versed with the subject and know the depth of the subject. Sometimes it's hectic to pass the exam as you get to make a research project which should be original in all subjects no plagiarism should be there, viva and then the exam which has no gap in between and the syllabus is vast.

Internships Opportunities

An internship committee has been established in the university where they provide internship opportunities for both paid and unpaid internships where students have to give interviews. Students can also do internships of their choice where they want to.

Fees and Financial Aid

Studying here is very very expensive. Half of the students take loans. The scholarship is provided for all students on a merit basis and a maximum of 10 students are selected. Sometimes fees are charged more than average semester fees. State govt also provide scholarship to st/sc/obc student up to 20,000. that does not help with their fees.

Campus Life

All the festival is celebrated by every student, faculties, and staff together and also every year fest is conducted and dj night and sports day are also celebrated. The library has been provided to students where they can issue books and can also study there. There are various clubs according to students' interests where they can enroll themselves. Also, there are many legal aid, group and also organization.

Admission

Both graduate and undergraduate can apply for this course. A clat exam is conducted for admission to NLU The application can be filled out by visiting the consortium site. The form fee is charged 4000. reservation is based on a domicile certificate.

Our fee structure is like ki you have to pay first time 15700 as a admission fee You also have to pay 500 on college bank If you came from reservation then need documents like cast domicile and etc there is a scholarship which comes in state government of jharkhand it's e kalyan for filling the form of e kalyan you again need documents like cast domicile income etc if you want to fill form then you have to be the domicile of jharkhand they give you around 20000 as a scholarship

NUSRL- a brief overview.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Well I'm a first year student and in the first year we were mostly taught BA subjects like English, economics, philosophy,legal history, contract and tort. Among these, I think that legal history and philosophy were the most important subjects that we got to study. They're highly practical and helps us develop arguments and gets us to know about the history of how the legal system in India came into being. Exams are conducted on a pretty good time intervals.

In 5th year, companies start coming for the placements.Being a 2nd year student, I don't have much knowledge about it. But our last batch senior who passed out. Many of them I heard that they got placements. The placements were around like 12,00,000.

Here the positive part is that most of the law teachers are from nlus or from good law collages. The teachers here have a good knowledge of the field of law and most of the teachers are helpfull. Negative part sometimes the teachers are not able to fully complete there syllabus because law is a vast subject.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placements after 8th semester. There are various law firms and corporate companies which visit college like Trilegal, SAM, CAM, ICICI Bank, etc. Many AORs are also invited to hire students under them. Although the campus placement is not that great, but students do find job after graduation. Many students go for LLM after the course also.

A short review on NUSRL, Ranchi

Placement Experience:

5th year (final year students) are the only ones eligible for placement. You can work on your own to get one before that. The placement cell has very recently become active and so we need to wait 6 more months to see the real ratio of placements made. However, most students here either pursue LLM, or they get placement offers before the college can provide them or they simply go for preparing judiciary, govt counsels, or other jobs.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The main motive to choose the course or to say likely to choose these course because it is very learning course for every student to know there right and duties and more over laws. After choosing the course it was really hardship to cover whole syllabus at one semester though I process it out and make it easy the law basically tought us to solve the reasoning in short and simple. Which I am learning in my whole semester which is not affecting my exams and internship duration.

During counselling, initially, I was allotted NLU, Tamil Nadu but I chose to float it as it was really far away from my hometown. After that in the 2nd list, I was allotted DNLU, Jabalpur, but I floated again because DNLU wasa 3 tier college and it has been recently established, so, I left. Nusrl Dissected

I was very clear that I have to go to a NLU anyday over anything . There are good private universities but the name that a NLU has is unmatched. Even the internship and placement opportunities these days are preferring NLU grads. Moving to central Universities. No doubt they are good as well but the work culture and exposure which I can get into a NLU is unmatched. NUSRL through my eyes.

I got confirmed admission from Symbiosis Law School, Noida. In ClAT counselling round I got a seat in NLU Assam also. I chose this college over SLS Noida because this is an NLU. And NLU Ranchi has better ranking than NLU Assam. Admission in my college happen through Common Law Admission Test (CLAT). Seat is allotted through counselling process which happens in 5 rounds.
