Likes

Green campus and well maintained hostels which helps you deal with the rigorous college routine with ease. The green campus keeps the temperature of the Campus cool even during boling summer days.
The mess provides a diverse menu with healthy food items. The diet includes all the necessary micro and macro nutrients required by our bodies.
Being a National law University the students here come from all the corners of India which builds an environment of mutual learning

Dislikes

Some professors are not up to the mark and our exam papers are evaluated too strictly which makes it very hard for the students to maintain a good cgpa
The infrastructure is underdeveloped even after being facilitated with a campus size of 67 acres
The library is situated at the 3rd floor of the academic bloc and there is no seperate library building. The size of the library is quite small

Course Curriculum Overview

Being a National law University it is quite hectic but the legal subjects help you builds up your foundation for your upcoming legal profession. There are no study gaps between the mid semesters or end semester which is quite hectic. The difficulty level of some papers are normal while some are normal to hard

Class Size: 120Course Fees: INR 260000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The total fee in first year was 260000 which is quite high for a government college. Being a general category student i couldn't get any scholarship. There are various scholarships for reserved classes . The total fee includes mess and hostel fee which is compulsory for everyone

Campus Life

The college organises an annual fest called Avirbhaav every year where all the students with their added efforts make it successful. The library is small in size but is well equipped. The classrooms have centralised ac, smart boards, collar mics for professors and many other facilities. The wifi in hostels are not adequate. There are various sport arrangements in the college ranging from basketball court to cricket pitch. There are various active centres and clubs running in the campus where students actively work

Admission

You can enter this college by clearing CLAT that is Common Law Admission Test. It is a national level competitive exam where around 1 lakh students appear and around 3 thousand students get a seat in a national law University. It's not very easy to crack Clat

Faculty

During my first year in college i had a great experience with most of the faculties except some who procrastinated their lectures and did not share any quality information during the class hours. All the professors are qualified enough to teach. Some have an excellent approach while a few lack interest in teaching.

The best collage in ranchi

Course Curriculum Overview:

Like everyone knows in which carriculum they are interested ,similarly i know i have a keen interest in my subject i.e. physics . We can't see physics as a theoretical and mathematical aspect but in our daily Life we use to experienc it . Like if something is fell down there is a reason behind that is gravity .we use to experience physics in our daily life . Some teacher use to make us feel for that subject but someone make us bore sometime. It happens rarely but sometime it happens. So i suggest them to change some activity Like teach with more energyso tha we can't get bored. Sometime we get very lengthy paper in the exams so everyone have to prepare before the examination with high speed.

Placement Experience:

After 5th semester students become eligible for campus placements and PPOs. Tata motors, Tata Powers, Jindal Steel Limited, etc with an average number of 5-6 students. In my batch highest package was 11 LPA in Tata Steels and overall average package was 6 LPA. Around 40% students were get placed in my batch. Preparations for government examninations to get into PSUs.

Placement Experience:

Placements in our college start from 7th sem, some internships in 6th too. Companies like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Tech Mahindra, Capgemini visited. Highest package around 12 LPA, average 3.5–4 LPA. About 70–75% students placed, others go for higher study or govt exams. My plan is to try campus first, then off?campus or masters later.

The placement oppourtunity is very low as only rare companies visits our college and tgey select only few students and gives tgem the opportunity to work with them due to which maximum students faces employment difficulty. The rate of placement is only upto 20-30% .

I has a vision to study English from the very beginning. I wanted to study English since i was good at English and also the most important thing was me being an isce student upto class 12 which inculcated a strong English base in me English as a subject is very vast. As the world is heading towards modernisation English has become a very important thing. Gossner college has good English professors and also i heard a lot from most of my seniors that gossner college has best English faculty. The frequency of exam is 2 exams per semester where the portion tought in the syllabus is asked and it's not very easy and not very tough too

Mechanical branch in terms of number of students placed is quite high but if it is about how many students get elite packages it's less. The average for our branch at our college is 8-9 lakhs but top companies which are into our core space for long are our college partners.

BIT Mesra is humongous!!

Placement Experience:

My plans after degree is to pursue masters or right away get on with my family business as we are already into trading chemicals. However, from the number of students from our stream that apply for jobs through campus, over 80% are placed from campus. Labs to industries that deals in manufacturing of chemicals and exporting the same are the ones where students of our college get the opportunity.

BIT Mesra is Magical!!

Placement Experience:

Highest package from our campus is eye catching as it's 56 lakhs and for chemical branch it was 34 lakhs. HUL, Sun Pharma, public limited labs and various R&D research centres are those that have helped us to get best available jobs in market as the competition is high but BIT Mesra has still managed to place over 80% students last year.

Nusrl Dissected

I was very clear that I have to go to a NLU anyday over anything . There are good private universities but the name that a NLU has is unmatched. Even the internship and placement opportunities these days are preferring NLU grads. Moving to central Universities. No doubt they are good as well but the work culture and exposure which I can get into a NLU is unmatched. NUSRL through my eyes.

I got confirmed admission from Symbiosis Law School, Noida. In ClAT counselling round I got a seat in NLU Assam also. I chose this college over SLS Noida because this is an NLU. And NLU Ranchi has better ranking than NLU Assam. Admission in my college happen through Common Law Admission Test (CLAT). Seat is allotted through counselling process which happens in 5 rounds.
