Remarks

The college management is really strict when it comes to academics but sometimes i feel that theween there's a lack of communication between different department which troubles students a lot but over all NSIT is definitely a place to be for 4 years and s

Entrance Preview

If you want to get in NSIT, IIT mains is the entrance exam, you gotta give i scored 192 in mains and 90% in CBSE board and landed up on ICE branc at NSIT my rank was around 19K and sice i personally like coding i opted for ICE as it was the best branch i could get at this rank.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

The course in my opinion is a little outdated and too easy to be taught to a student who is coming to attend classes for B.E program where as the faculty of NSIT includes a lot of well educated and over qualified professors who are always willing to teach and help some of the teachers might be a little nosey and will keep troubling you for whole semester but overall the faculty at nsit is friendly and co operative.

Internships Opportunities

Well being a fresher i dont know much about internship and all but on the bases of what seniors told me is that a lot of companies come to campus with internship programs and recruit many students from each batch on basis of the capabilities of student the slipend offers are offered but its generally around 10K for freshers.

Placement Experience

5

Placements and Job opportunities are by far excellent at NSIT moreover it is USP of NSIT and the reason why i chose NSIT over DTU placements are comparable to some of the top IITs and other leading institutes last year around 6 8 people got placed for a package of 1.2 crores which is tremendous achievement for its own plus all the dream companies like google, facebook, texas etc come to campus every year and recruit many students.

College Events

4.5

When it comes to celebration no one can beat NSIT. NSIT moksha has always been one of the biggest and awaited college fest of delhi a large number of indian as well as international artists come to perform at moksha rather than moksha there are many other fests like resonanz innovision etc.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee structure is somewhat mediocre as its a government college, fee is less than that of other private colleges which is good and since every other govt engineering college's fee structure is same it becomes feasible.

Fees and Financial Aid

For students belonging to reservation categories gets a lot of scholarships and many of friends got scholarships for around 1.5 lakhs and since NIST is top 6 ranked institute of india geting an education loan is really easy you will definitely get a loan.

Campus Life

2.5

There are a lot of societies both official and unofficial ones which you can join in order to purse your interest college also organise different fests and eventsumm the number of girls is a little less as compared to boys just as it should be at any typical engineering college but parties will be fun for sure and seniors are chill and against ragging they always help whenever you ask for.

Hostel Facilities

4

If you want to live college life in true sense do take a hostel room for sure cause once you are done with your degree and look back to the memories of last 4 years i can bet the most awesome ones will definitely belong to Hostel. Hostel facilities are ni

Alumni/Alumna

Alumni network is vast and is the main reason why so many companies visit NSIT every year and seniors are really friendly, helpful and against ragging they will always be there to guide you and provied you the notes.

Exam Structure

Sometimes it gets a little hectic but only when mid sems or end sems are approaching otherwise you'll get a lot of free time for yourself and to pursue your different intrests.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course Curriculum for ECE in my clg is quite up to date and comprehensive, covering both core subjects and emerging areas of technology, which was a major factor in my decision to choose this branch. Course has a balanced theory with practical exposure, supported by great faculties guidance and well-maintained lab conditions. Also you get to choose the type of minor or specilaization you want to pursue after 1st year. Exams are conducted regularly after each semester, and levels are same as any engineering college would have.

Placement Experience:

The placements are in good terms, many students get a placement with nice package. Students become eligible for campus placements from 3rd Semester. TCS made about 7 offers as far as I know. One can expect the highest package of 2.5crore and an average of 200000. About 80% of students gets placement because of the skills they learned wheres the rest 20% are only at college to do mischievous acts. After getting the degree, I will find a job and then after enough capital I will start my own startup.

The frequency of the exams is 2 times a year once in the month of December and once in the month of May. Internal exams (tests) are conducted in between to continuously evaluate you during the course. According to me, the exam should be conducted before itself, so that we can get more time for internship opportunities.
