Course Curriculum Overview
Computer Science is my passion so I went for it. Roughly 60-66 students in a class. Professor are PhD's or masters at least and everything is taught through slides or a board mostly slides. Very difficult exams both internals and terms you need to put a lot of effort to gain compared to other colleges
Internships Opportunities
Internships are provided really well around here the same companies which come for placements give internships. Maximum was a 80000 pm and average is also really good. Lot of good companies come for internships because they know there's a good student pool here.
Placement Experience
Placements in PES is top notch. After RVCE AND IIIT-B it's PES. From 6th sem you're eligible for placements. Average is 16-18 LPA and most of the students are placed regardless. Lot of companies have visited like apple adobe Microsoft the highest was 1.2 crore by a UK BASED company
Fees and Financial Aid
No fee hike policy but it's really expensive through PESSAT around 410000 per year. If your parents can afford it it's worth I don't think taking a loan out is worth it. But you do get scholarship based on your GPA every sem about 20 percent fess per sem if your GPA is above 8.5
Campus Life
Campus life is very average or below average. It's basically a school you have bouncers all over checking you're wearing ID or not. No free time can be found and even if found there very less to do on campus. They are still building a student centre though so that's gonna be good. We have only one fest thought the year in November. Library is very good books are available but sometimes bad condition. No proper sports is done unless you have interest. Lot of clubs here are run by students that's one plus Point about this
Admission
The admission process was very transparent and smooth. My qualification exam was PESSAT which is an examination conducted by them. You can also get in through Cet. So you can find the and you need to pass 12th.The application form on their website and it's very simple even the exam if you have prepared for JEE it's a piece of cake. Once I got my rank we were called to university to see what seat you could get for your rank.They call you to a auditorium where people are called out openly and asked to select and you can see how many seats are available real time. It's very transparent. I would say it's one of the best admission processes
