Dislikes

useless subjects (not most of them, but maybe about a half) repetitive material ,teachers who were not up to date on their own subjects ,tasks with no practical value
little to zero practical experience with, some subjects where it would’ve been useful some teachers being disrespectful and/or condescending
no choice of subjects (granted, the educational system here doesn’t work like that in the US, for instance, and the students cannot actually make up their own schedule, but some more freedom would’ve been good)

Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum and faculty members are so good. I choose this course because I have an interest in electronics. Talking about faculty is that faculties always help to solve doubt regarding the subject. All facilities are well qualified and always try to teach with Innovative methods. The term exam is not so easy but also not so hard.

Class Size: 70Course Fees: INR 3100 per year

Placement Experience

The placement is also so good. At the end of 6 semesters, students are getting internships. There is companies like Wipro, Infosys, TCS Cognizant, and Accenture visited our college. The average package is 3-4 LPA and the highest package is 14 LPA. 80% of students get placed. My plan is to do a job.

Fees and Financial Aid

Talking about the fee structure. For the open category, the fees are high. You apply if you are eligible for TFWS but before the merit list. There is no policy. You do need to purchase books from outside. The library is there you will get all books.

Campus Life

Life on campus is so nice. The infrastructure of the college is also good. Cleanliness is there. Yes, there is an annual fest name YASH Events are conducted according to students' demands means all the things regarding the semester, and no loss of students because of the fest these things are kept in mind, and as per this the event conducts. various clubs are also there like green club, astronomy club, music club, dance club.

Admission

I took the MHT-CET entrance exam to get admission to YCCE. Three things are so important 1st your percentile 2nd cutoff and 3rd category. Depending upon whether you will get admission to in engineering college. I got 82%ile. According to these three things I got selected for Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering in YCCE. Placement Experience:

From 7th Sem, students are eligible for placements and undergo placement training. Many companies has visited so far but the big ones are Godrej, BEL, Framatome, etc. The highest package for mechanical was 7.5 LPA and the avg package was around 5 LPA with a majority of job roles as GET. Almost 95% students are placed. I'm preparing for GATE ME for higher studies

Placement Experience:

If one wants direct placements in comapnies such as Wipro, Cognizant, Hexaware, TCS and many more, SIT is the place. Highest is still unbeatable as one student in 2023 got a paycheck of 50 lakhs per annum from SIT. Even the average is over 10 lakhs now as most students are placed through SIT placements cell.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum is also good and it is explained in detail on the college's website and there are labs for the courses which made learning fast and easy. Relevance(industry alignment)->8/10 The curriculum is designed to keep up with the industry needs especially in fast growing fields like computer science, management, design and pharmacy. Updated course such as AI, machine learning, cybersecurity, data science and 3D printing are included for tech students. Industry exposure depends on the students initiative it's not equally strong in every department. Comprehensiveness-> 7.5/10 First year courses focus on building strong basics in science, mathematics and communication skills. Later semesters introduce specialisation, electives, research projectsand soft skill training. The curriculum also includes personality development, entrepreneurship and innovation modules. A few departments could integrate new technologies fatser into the syllabus. I applied to Ramdeobaba, G.H.Raisoni , Sipna, YCCE. Got confirmed admisssion for all the colleges except Ramdeobaba. YCCE offers better teaching and placements as compared to other colleges in this list. I got rejected in Ramdeobaba due to the cut-off percentage being too high and me not being able to fullfil it.
