Sagar Patel's Review On Government Engineering College, Palanpur

This is government college so it is not as per our thoughts of college normally we see in moviws.It has very lack of girls, faculty, lab assistant. it's canteen is very bad but there's staff always try to took changes and make it best college.

This is state government college. i got admission through state exam and GUJCET's marit. I got 79% in 12th science exam. This is government college and it's reputation is good. Also it has less education fee than any other private colleges.

This college is affiliated with gujarat technological university so it has same course as other colleges affiliated with gtu.Course level is mostly same as iit level it may be some difference but it is almost same. Our college's faculty is very knowledge full. mostly all are master in engineering but due to vacancies it has not enough staff.

In our college there is not any internship held officially but if anyone has jack in industry than we can get noc from college easily for internship purpose at vacation time.College is not related with stipend and internship arrangements. There is industrial visit mostly done in our college.

Our college is newly established so they are not giving any offer of 100% placement. But they try to placement of students.there is placement cell in our college and gives details of students, activity of college to the various companies.In civil and mechanical branch small regional companies come which give less package annually 2 to 3 lakh.

In our college there is held some cultural activity events occur around date of independent day. Also in winter there is organized sports week also various technical event, paper presentation, robotics event is held.

This is government college so it has less fee than any other private colleges.It has annual fee of rs. 1500 only and exam fee is rs. 150 per subject.

There is government 's scholarship for backward class students but college gives expenditure of books to the students which students mom or dad passes away.

College campus life is good with full of bunks but we can't get practical knowledge in lab due to lack staff. there is not branch like computer and it so there is very less girls in the college. There is not any ragging occur in college it is very peaceful atmosphere in college.

There is not hostel facilities available from government to college students but there is private hostels which has annual fee of rs. 45000 approx. They didn't give good quality food as home but other facilities is ok.

There is alumni students association in colleges senior students .They normally come in college once a year.They give guidance to the students mostly for there industries experience and scope of future.

Exam is held by gujarat technological university it is of 70 marks. 30 marks 8s internal. There is also viva and project work done in last year. at mid time of semester mid exam held.There is not any practical exam held.
