I wish the management be a bit more responsible in infrastructure and lab developments

I didnt not write any entrance exams. Came through management quota as I'm from Gujarat there was no any interview process

Course Curriculum Overview

Mechatronics That's my course It's one of the new courses in recent times It has provided me a wonderful experience Practical wise it's less as equipment are too costly and unavailable

Internships Opportunities

As i know there are no internships provided. College ask us to take internships outside.

Placement Experience

Placement are less. Hardly very less students get placed. The companies that had come are Amazon, flipfart etc

College Events

Some of the events that take place are innovate expo. ethnic day, oxytech, freshers day, engineers day etc.

Fee Structure And Facilities

I paid around 1.5 lakh as i came through management quota.

Fees and Financial Aid

There are scholarships but only for SC/ST caste..

Campus Life

Talking about extracurricular activities i feel a bit sad as there were no activities takes place other than teaching..

Its not worth according to what i am paying. Actually i am from north Indian so food is not good for me. no proper water supply.

No. I wish college could make an alumni network and conduct an alumni meet every year

Exam Structure

Exams are conducted monthly once. It has never made me tired it has only improved my studies.

Life at IIT Dharwad - What to expect

Placement Experience:

At IIT Dharwad, students become eligible for campus placements right after their 7th semester(i.e. after the start of 4th year) and during their 3rd year, students also have opportunities to sit for internships which can later convert to PPOs. The companies that have visited our campus are Adobe, Amazon, Texas, TCS, wipro etc. The highest CTC offered was 55LPA and average package for CSE is 18-20LPA, and for the core branches is around 10-15LPA. In CSE more than 93% of the students got placed and many of other students opted for higher studies . In the core branches the placement percentage was around 85-88%. After My degree, I plan to go for a Software Engineer role.

Like companies like Amazon , Delloite , Indiamart,Cisco ,IBM, Mercedez benz R&d INDIA,Oracle , NVIDIA, Samsung,Tata, Wipro, currently in 2025 average package is of 11.9 LPA highest CTC is 71.94 LPA and median is 9.34 LPA currently 77,23% placed and remains ongoing Doing my masters in mechatronics or CSE from IITs or from Foreign univerisites

Course Curriculum Overview:

Well my subjects are right now, physics, pop(c), java,IME (introduction to mechanical engineering), mathamatics. Well curriculum is great as we got more programming languages and some of the moderate difficulty i would say. And also better exam conduction .
