I was admitted though CET. their was not any interview. engineering was not my choice it was by chance

Course is pretty good. College give us better opportunity to focus in piratical to understand in better apart from theory

I guess my college should give us notification about internship every time otherwise we would never get to know

I hardly knw about about my collage placement i hav no idea about that.. Ya. but i have seen many senior friends getting placed wit their dream companies The companies which i knw is -book my show,hp,infosis,microsoft,ibm,etc,

College Events

The fests like- Impulse, techmania etc - where every student will get an opportunity to show their best out of their own and within the budget, Showcase every students talent.

Fee Structure And Facilities

As i am through CET. as well of change of college. i have noticed, a lot of difference from my previous clg fee structure though it is a top college...in India as well as in Bangalore. their is a heavy difference(less) in fee structure

Ya there are scholarships for every cast- sc/st,obc etc. I always apply for that.

Campus Life

Co-curricular activities is where we get a chance to show our best whether we win or not, participating is primary and winning is secondary i believe. We have a no end opportunity to explore it. There are multilevel opportunity.

Hostel Facilities

Felling guilty that hostel provides no proper food,..maintenance of hostel is not proper.....as i have heard complements for my friends thy r not at all happy about hostel.

Exam Structure

Labs in afternoon session make us feel tired, sleepy,...only becoz for not paying attention

Faculty

Teachers are highly professional in their teaching wit good experience..very interactive,supportive,friendly,helpful in all circumstances. they always make us active in afternoon session too.

Life at IIT Dharwad - What to expect

Placement Experience:

At IIT Dharwad, students become eligible for campus placements right after their 7th semester(i.e. after the start of 4th year) and during their 3rd year, students also have opportunities to sit for internships which can later convert to PPOs. The companies that have visited our campus are Adobe, Amazon, Texas, TCS, wipro etc. The highest CTC offered was 55LPA and average package for CSE is 18-20LPA, and for the core branches is around 10-15LPA. In CSE more than 93% of the students got placed and many of other students opted for higher studies . In the core branches the placement percentage was around 85-88%. After My degree, I plan to go for a Software Engineer role.

Well my subjects are right now, physics, pop(c), java,IME (introduction to mechanical engineering), mathamatics. Well curriculum is great as we got more programming languages and some of the moderate difficulty i would say. And also better exam conduction .
