Remarks

i can suggest there should be a little more development in overall campus... By giving internships and conducting events by there own funds...So that students can enjoy as well as study..

Entrance Preview

I got a seat by govt quota(i.e, DCET) Actually i complied my Diploma in Mechatronics Engg and i do choose this course because i hared something different about this course like it is a combination of 3 to 4 branches...YES I’m happy because i feel like the course what i selected is multidisciplinary and i feel a bright future because i can say ppl who is studying this course are “super engg”

Course what i have choosen is awesome.. practical learning was ok but not any separate lab we got so that even in free times we can go and study more about... i don't know much about research because till now i have not haired about such things.

Internships Opportunities

No internship. i did not see any internship providing by college

Placement Experience

Yeah placement is quite good... till now they brought around 4 to 5 companies... package was different based on there companies scenario... Happy with campus

College Events

No we cant see such things... if we need to do event from college side what we get is permision... But not all the time... Unhappy

fee structure compare to other colleges is not much...Around 47,500/- including our DCET and College Development fees

yeah they hell us for any type of scholarships and loan

Life at IIT Dharwad - What to expect

Placement Experience:

At IIT Dharwad, students become eligible for campus placements right after their 7th semester(i.e. after the start of 4th year) and during their 3rd year, students also have opportunities to sit for internships which can later convert to PPOs. The companies that have visited our campus are Adobe, Amazon, Texas, TCS, wipro etc. The highest CTC offered was 55LPA and average package for CSE is 18-20LPA, and for the core branches is around 10-15LPA. In CSE more than 93% of the students got placed and many of other students opted for higher studies . In the core branches the placement percentage was around 85-88%. After My degree, I plan to go for a Software Engineer role.

Like companies like Amazon , Delloite , Indiamart,Cisco ,IBM, Mercedez benz R&d INDIA,Oracle , NVIDIA, Samsung,Tata, Wipro, currently in 2025 average package is of 11.9 LPA highest CTC is 71.94 LPA and median is 9.34 LPA currently 77,23% placed and remains ongoing Doing my masters in mechatronics or CSE from IITs or from Foreign univerisites

Course Curriculum Overview:

Well my subjects are right now, physics, pop(c), java,IME (introduction to mechanical engineering), mathamatics. Well curriculum is great as we got more programming languages and some of the moderate difficulty i would say. And also better exam conduction .
