Course Curriculum Overview

Better job opportunities, one-year savings for post-graduation, and better for government job aspirants, So I choose this course. Faculty are more and almost suits well for the student count. All faculties are of Ph.D. grade. Two mid and a final for each semester with 5-6 months duration.

Placement Experience

From 5 sem to internships and from 6th sem for placements. Top companies visit and the highest package offered last year i.e. 2022 is 1.2cr LPA. 100% placements provided. My Plans will mostly be software and others will be government.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions

No hike in fees every year. The cost of the study is not too high but rather not too low. The Central government and state govt scholarships for eligible students. And raja Rajeshwari scholarships for below-poverty-line students.

Campus Life

Annual fests are pretty good like Riviera, and Gravitas and it's obvious that everyday simple event happens at common ground. Books and journals are in huge numbers and Library is too good and big. Classrooms have comfortable cushion benches and fans, lights, lcd smart class boards. All kinds of sports and extracurricular activities will be there. Football, volleyball, Basketball, cricket, etc. Almost all the clubs are maintained by students. Like NCC, NSS, Sahiti telugu club, IPES, etc.

Hostel Facilities

Room is based on your selection.. 1 bed to 8 beds and both AC & Non AC. Mess is pretty good and depends on your mess type selection. Mess & hostel is a little expensive when compared with others and the registration process is also a little hectic.

Hostel Fee: INR 107000 per year

Admission

Entrance for integrated Mtech is by Intermediate/ HSC/ 12th Equivalent marks criteria. Eligibility is 60% aggregate in the qualifying exam. Application form and fee details can be found at www.vit.ac.in, under admission, Postgraduate, Integrated Mtech section.

Placement Experience:

From 5th senester students are eleigible for the placements. So your 5th semester cgpa is very important. This college provide placements from companies like zoho, accenture, tcs , hexaware, mitsogo and more. The highest package is 12Lakhs and lowest package us 3lakhs.60 percentage of students are getting placed each year. Its fully depend on your skills. My plan is to place in campus placements for a web developer role.

The placements are good but the college will not give guarantee that there is 100% placements if there is 100 % placements it might be good because getting good placements in lot of people is hard in other colleges the strength is less and getting chance is more

Panimalar : A paradise For The Learners

Placement Experience:

The students get eligible fro the placements and attends interviews from the sixth semester. And the college starts to provide special placeement training from the end of the sixth semester. Even I'm still not eligible to attend the college placements, I hear a lot from my seniors about the placements. From those informations, some of the major and high paying companies like Accenture, Infosys, Sutherland often approach college for the placement. I have no knowledge about the highest package but average package could be ranging from 5,00,000 to 6,00,000 LPA. The highest number of students that are getting placed are from Dept. of AI&DS. With overall count of students attending more than 50% students passes the aptitude and reasoning test round, 15% of students passes the Group Discussion round, and only 5-6% students passes the HR round and getting placed. I personally started to hate these 9-5 jobs after hearing from the seniors who got placed in so called "best IT companies". So, my short term plan is to get placed in a high paying IT company and work till i get fired by any means. My major and long term plan is to start a business with all the savings that I've saved from my job.

The reason i choosed this college over the other college is because that VIT Vellore is the top college than others and the placements are soo good. And is known for placements. I could not make it to IIT as per my percentile. It was easy to apply for VIT Vellore. I went to vit.ac.in then all the instructions with procedures were dispalyed. I had got to apply for PES Banglore, And was confirmed in JSS. But i didn't take admission there as VIT provides the best admission than other colleges. The eligibility is to be 12th pass with more than 75% in P,C,M and CS. Then the cutoff will be released. Students will get rank based on their board percentage....Read More

Everything you need to know about VIT

I didn't applied for TNEA counselling. I wrote many exams like VITEEE, JEE mains,Manipal entrance exam. And I got a chance to grab a seat in Manipal institute of technology. But the fees is too expensive for B.Tech chemical engineering (?3 lakh+). So I dropped it. I didn't make a good rank in VITEEE. And also I barely passed in JEE mains. I applied online in the portal of msc integrated admission where I applied by filling all the necessary requirements and finally by paying ?600.
