Course Curriculum Overview

5

This course is for the new world of designing. From web development to designing a poster.every aspect of designing and art is explored.with our curriculum we get the knowledge on multiple aspects of designing.as we learnt to make web apps and then video editing and photoshop as an elective.hence this makes the course even more fun to learn and enjoy.we can even start making video games after using this elective.

Internships Opportunities

5

The interships are to be done by ourselves for the first 3 years.the college doesn't involve in internships in the initial stage and lets us explore our interests.but once we reach the 4th year the internships are directly given to the students from about 20k as stipend.all the projects from the first year are checked so all of your work from the starting is evaluated and the progress is also checked.

Placement Experience

4

For campus placements students of the 4th year or 7th semester are the eligible ones. Multiple companies like zoho, apple,TCS,CTS, accenture etc have come and multiple small companies too. But the intake for the big and reknown MNCs were low from abt 2-3 candidates only.the placement here is 100% but the companies may vary.My future goal is to go for a government official stream after I finish my masters abroad.

Fees and Financial Aid

Every year we pay about 1,60,000 excluding the other charges of hostel or bus facility.rest of all the fees are included in it.for scholarship we can apply for it based on sports quota or students from the gov school which is considered as the 7.5 quota....these students don't have to pay they feel other than the book fees. And multiple scholarships are available including a single parent scholarship

Campus Life

5

The main event being held is the colors event once every year or 2. In the colors event the whole college is involved from conducting multiple technical events to non technical events. Then they have the ARP/BOG selection for about months and the final result being announced on the annual day in April. These are the biggest of events. But at the same time multiple small events from different departments are conducted from time to time. Either it being workshops or symposiums or paper presentation or even competition for the cultural themes.they also conduct the sports day before the annual day being held.there are multiple clubs for about 22 different clubs in our college run by the respective students.they even conduct events club wise too.the college provides full freedom for the students to explore their creativity.

Hostel Facilities

4

The meal from the college hostels are much better compared to the ones from outside the college...in the pg.there are multiple hostels and pgs and even room for bachelors around the surroundings of the college itself.college mess has different menue for each day.

Admission

I had applied to over 70+ colleges in Tamilnadu but this was one of the first College which accepted me.thw reason why I chose to come here was to explore the new area of computer science.the other colleges might have rejected my application due to the percentage I got or the cutoff I had during the TNEA round.to join my college there are 2 ways, can join using the government method of applying to the TNEA counselling or can directly join through the management quota.no additional exam is required other than the 12 board exams for the candidate to join.

Faculty

5

The faculty here are fun no matter what department they come from.there is only a 20% chances of getting a strict faculty.even if the mentors are quite fun their teachings are also on point.they provide us with study materials through the official college portal and also refer to reknown books.there are about 3 internal exams and one semester exam for each sem. The internals are graded out of 50 marks by our own teacher and for the internal marks for the SGPA is taken as the best of 2 of the 3 internal exams.each subject paper for internal contains of 10 2 marks,3 13 marks and 1 14 marks question.and the passing mark for the internal is 25. For the semester we write practical for the subject which has lab and also the theory. For practical we write for 100 marks and semester we write for 100 marks and the passing marks for this is 50 marks.

Night Life

5

For coming into the campus the timing is 8.30 and for going out it can be as late as 9 PM if you are not a hosteller. For hostel the in time is 6pm. The college has about 2 small cafe places and a food court to hang out.if that ain't enough the college has a lawn at the entrance where we can enjoy the fresh air and sunlight.we even have multiple courts like basketball football volleyball badminton courts all around where we can play and enjoy the evening with out mates.we even have a park with all the equipments and spine a building with gym music room art room theatre dance studio swimming pool and even an indoor cricket pitch.but the only thing is we have to pay for using the spine building.
