Library- Its a heaven like full AC and lots of books
Campus life is a 100. Too many memories and very enjoyable fest and programs

Course Curriculum Overview

Faculties are very friendly and experienced and after every 2 modules, there will be an internal exam. Every faculty are Mtech and PhD Holder. Every class have a strength of 60 students. Civil faculties are very excellent at teaching

Internships Opportunities

The college provides internship opportunities and also we can externally take an internship in our own way. Just the approval is needed which will get easy. Civil gets many internship opportunities here. Very helpful faculties and management

Placement Experience

Placements are very good here. Around more than half of the students get placement here. Civil provide construction companies like Shobha, Hilite etc and more IT companies are there. 4th-year students are eligible for the placement.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees are affordable and after the first year based on our CGPA we will get the scholarship and fees will get reduced and other scholarships are there. Around 3 Lakh is the cost of study which will get fluctuations according to the scholarship

Campus Life

Campus life is very nice and enjoyable. The college provides a garden space in which we can go and enjoy the evenings. The library is very nice and innovative. It is a full AC space with greenery inside. Sports like cricket football kabaddi basketball volleyball shuttle etc. and other club activities are there. Aaravam is the fest and Vipanchika is the tech fest

Hostel Facilities

Hostel is very clean and spacious one. Food provided is good . Hostel rent is 2000/- per month. Each room provides 3 bed, shelf and window curtain and net is there. Weekley cleaning is provided. A shuttle court is provided

Hostel Fee: INR 2000 per year

You need to qualify and secure a good rank to get admission to this college. We can find the course details and other facility details on the college's official site. Reservations are there like sports quota etc. Course fees are reduced if you have a scholarship

My journey at TIST

Placement Experience:

Placements cells are supportive in terms of networking with different companies and are readily active for the students competing in getting internships and placements. The college has a tie up with different companies like Infosys , Wipro , Deloitte , IBM , NVIDIA , Deshaw Private Limited etc. Students become eligible from semester 5 onwards for on campus placements. The offers made by these companies are 8 LPA to 9 LPA by deloitte , innfosys , and IBM but the highest package is being offered by Deshaw and NVIDIA that is 60 LPA and 47 LPA. The average package is around 11 LPA and the percentage of students getting placed are above 80%. My plan after getting the degree is to work for an IT Company to get the hands on knowledge about what the current technologies demand and get experienced in that and work further upon it.

From the semester 7 onwards the placement interview will begin.The company's like Infosys,Sutherland etc.But if we are doing externally that is also good.I'm planning on improving my skills first and then going abroad. The average package available would be 4 lakh per annum.

The other colleges i applied was all govt colleges.i couldn't got the rank to get there because i got less rank in keam exams.so i choose the best college i could get on my marks. I got 25526 rank in keam examination such that i cracked in here and also i wanted to be here because my super seniors where here they also insisted me that scms school of engineering is a good college.our college is a managemental college accredited by govt either we should crack keam exam or we should jee exam or we be nri quota. SSET- from the viewpoint of a student

I applied to government colleges and MITS ,RIST and FISAT too among with SSET. But I got confirmation letter from SSET in my first allotment itself. I choose SSET because it has a great infrastructure and wide possibility of opportunities. One of my relative was an alumni of this college and I got to know about the college from her perspective. The response I got from others whenever I asked about my college was really positive and hence I chose SSET. I never got rejection from other colleges I applied to, I simply chose to settle in the first college I got allotted after my KEAM Rank list got published. I chose SSET over other colleges because other colleges were really expensive and I never wanted to push my family to go through such a hard time just for my education. Even though I got admitted to a really great college with a high quality course the fees there in one sem was twice the amount I had to pay in SSET for a year The admission process of my college was quite simple.All we had to do was submit my certificates and sign a few papers. It Lasted only one and half hours. The eligibility to get here included passing the KEAM Exam and having 50% or more pass mark in plus two. The student must have studied Science subject with either Biology or Computer Science as the main Subject. My overall admission experience was really great.
