Teaching faculties are very good and they are really helpfull...
Mar Baselios have a very good infrastructure too..
labs and the equipments are in very good condition

Dislikes

Timing is also a major problem if you are doing minors then you will have to spend arounf 9 hours on the college

I chose mech because I love machines and ic engines....but the difficulty of the course is okay can't say like is too complex or too simple but if you are a disciplined person(I mean if you study on a daily basis) and you like mathematics then you can easily crack this course

Mar Baselios are providing so many internships for the development of the children...they conduct so many workshops as well..In my first year, they provide us with a very needful intership on the basis of ic engines from Jaya Matha which is inside the campus

students are eligible for campus placements from 3rd year onwards...I think 60+ companies are offering jobs as well..the highest salary package of the last year was 7 lpa...and the average salary package of the previous year was 4 lpa. Still, my plan is to do MBA from a well-reputed college like IIM.

Fees and Financial Aid

my annual fees are around 75k to 80 k ...but I will say something sincerely it's all worth it because they are providing good faculty and facilities so it's all worth it. and they too have a perfect campus placement wing where I think they have about 60+ companies...

Our fest CROSSROADS is conducted in the mid of May...we too have the best library which I can say they have 40k+ books...yeah Mar Baselios also provides excellent and robust support on extracurricular activities like sports. Also, they promote state-level and national-level participation...

Admission

Yeah, I took keam entrance exam for applying in well-reputed engineering colleges. And I got admission through a government merit seat and the admission process is all okay. if you are looking for good colleges, do the allotment list properly I mean, do priority properly...

College Feels Like Home

Placement Experience:

The placement department in our college is great and is always trying to bring good companies to the college. The placement training starts from semester 7. Our top recruiter include Infosys, TCS, Wipro, NocoBD, Delloite, etc. and our mechanical, civil, EEE,ECE all got placements with avg of 4lpa.The highest package where 12 Lpa for SAP. My plans is to get a good job and lead a stable life.

Students in 7th and 8th semester are eligible to sit for campus placements. Companies like Oracle, Goldman Sachs, L&T, Bajaj, Caterpillar and PSU's like BEL,HPCL and BPCL come to the college usually the coding companies offer aroung 35-40 LPA CTC and the core PSU companies offer around 17-18 LPA. Highest Package is 51 LPA and an Average Package of 12 LPA. Nearly 85% students from Circuit and CS branch get placed and around 60% in core branches who sit for placements, My plans after getting the degree is to join MBA to learn how business world works and how the money flows

My honest review of ICET

Placement Experience:

The students are eligible for attending campus placement from semester 7. Some companies that visits ICET are Utc global, Layland, DeltaX, etc. The average package given by the companies are 3 lpa. The percentage of students getting placed are around 40%. I plan to placed at any company.

I had applied for saitgaits,amal jyothi and cet. Considering cet,the fee and placements are high but the discipline and structured way is lacking.Now considering saintgaits and amal jyothi,there are more opportunities in mbcet to explore.. mbcet is also in the town and easily approachable via public transport.mbcet has a disciplined approach to studies.comparing the hostels too mbcet has one of the best hostels. I was rejected in cet for cs dept as i didnt aquire the required rank..i was accepted in both others but decided to join mbcet due to its status in society.
