Course Curriculum Overview

5

I did choose this course because I wanted to join judicial services and which BHUis the best option(as it is also known as the factory of judges)because teachers here teach each and every topic with such clarity which helps students a lot in cracking judiciary, law school selects teachers after interviewing them and after satisfying themselves that he /she will continue the prestige of this school and truly our teachers are so hardworking, their way of teaching is very good also the timely term test exams help us a lot as we keep on learnings answers writing skills also it motives us to study on daily basis, we have 1term exam in one semester apart from this we have to prepare assignments also for each subject were we learn drafting skills also we have to prepare presentations also which helps us in overcoming stage fear or improve communication skill, 75% attendance is mandatory for everyone which bound one to attend classes on daily basis, exams are of moderate level.

Internships Opportunities

3

Faculty provide an internship at the district court, but Normally students apply for the internships on their own in the office of an advocate or judge wherever they want to do their internship, faculty only provided them with a bonafide certificate.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee in BHU is very minimal compared to other institutions, my annual fee for LLB (Hons.) Is 3000, also the hotel fee is very minimal 4500 /- for 1 year plus mess fee, in my opinion, such an amount of fee would never create a financial burden on any family, but if one is not able to afford it due to very weak financial condition of the family our university provides scholarship of 2000 per year, also it provides scholarship to physically handicapped students, students belonging to BPL, also there is a program which provides campus jobs to students were he /she have to work for 2hr each day, where he/she gets 4000 rs for 3 months, for which he has to apply in his /her faculty or institution were he is interviewed that whether he truly required financial assistance or not or whether is a serious student or not, So overall cost to study in BHU is not expensive. It provides quality education at a minimal fee

Campus Life

5

If a student is studying in BHU along with a quality education there are other curricular activities also like he/she can take part in youth parliament, can join clubs like Imagix for photography, Rhetorical the debate club, musiques the music club, taalasya the dance club these all are run by students apart from this BHU also organises annual fests also like pandan, Kashi yatra. Students take part in tournaments, and large grounds and instructors are there, I recently joined swimming classes and again the fee is very minimal As far as classrooms are concerned we have both normal as well as digital classrooms, I want to add a special feature that our classes are built in such a way that all the windows are on left wall so that while writing shadow of hands do not fall on our notebooks classes are well equipped with lights, fans, white as well as blackboards, Mike system. We have 4lakh plants on campus which keep it cooler than outside even if the difference is 1d Celsius.

Admission

Banaras Hindu University is a very prestigious university in India, since the number of seats are very limited here students need to seat in the entrance exam after submitting the application form which usually come in the month of March examination took place after 1-2 months of filling of application i.e nearly during month of May via online as well as offline mode, i applied for the llb(hons.) which is a 3year course, one should be graduate from any course for applying for this course and approx after 1 month results are published on the official portal of University, selection is based on the merit list seats are reserved for students belonging to obs, SC, St classes, I got the admission under obc reservation usually the marks difference between general and obs catagory on which students get admission is 15-20. But now this entrance has been replaced by cuet which is a improvised step ,now students need not to apply for diff. universities separately.

Interview Experience

5

I appeared in an entrance examination which was basically a written examination since I appeared for law entrance out of 150 questions 130 were related to polity, general knowledge, general science, reasoning, math current affairs including questions on recent or famous judgements questions based on law like tort, contract, IPC etc remaining 20 were related to language, I prepared by studying a book named universal for LLB entrance apart from this I have gone through Lucent's general knowledge and also I used to prepare daily current affairs, the selection is purely based on merit as I already mentioned about it.
