Course Curriculum Overview

I have the interest in this course from a long ago. The institute has a well-qualified faculty. And have a good number of students. Mostly all facilities are well qualified with PhDs and master's degrees.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 80000 per year

Placement Experience

In 6th semester you are eligible for campus placement rounds.TCS, Accenture, and Tech Mahindra are some major recruiters who visited the campus for placement and the college has an average package of 4.5 lakhs.70 percent of students are placed every year.

Fees and Financial Aid

You will not get any stipend as a student. But you can apply to a lot of scholarship schemes. The schemes are provided by the college office and they also help to choose the perfect scheme. The college also reviews and helps to fill out forms.

Campus Life

There is a very peaceful life on campus. The Library is available for students with a very huge collection of books about everything. The classroom has projectors, a smart board, fans, well lighting, and good ventilation.

Admission

You need to give CET exam for the admission process. The application form details are provided on the college website. The reservation benefits are also available for students. The fee can be paid using the college app.

Placement Experience:

From 7th Sem, students are eligible for placements and undergo placement training. Many companies has visited so far but the big ones are Godrej, BEL, Framatome, etc. The highest package for mechanical was 7.5 LPA and the avg package was around 5 LPA with a majority of job roles as GET. Almost 95% students are placed. I'm preparing for GATE ME for higher studies

Placement Experience:

If one wants direct placements in comapnies such as Wipro, Cognizant, Hexaware, TCS and many more, SIT is the place. Highest is still unbeatable as one student in 2023 got a paycheck of 50 lakhs per annum from SIT. Even the average is over 10 lakhs now as most students are placed through SIT placements cell.

Course curriculum is also good and it is explained in detail on the college's website and there are labs for the courses which made learning fast and easy. Relevance(industry alignment)->8/10 The curriculum is designed to keep up with the industry needs especially in fast growing fields like computer science, management, design and pharmacy. Updated course such as AI, machine learning, cybersecurity, data science and 3D printing are included for tech students. Industry exposure depends on the students initiative it's not equally strong in every department. Comprehensiveness-> 7.5/10 First year courses focus on building strong basics in science, mathematics and communication skills. Later semesters introduce specialisation, electives, research projectsand soft skill training. The curriculum also includes personality development, entrepreneurship and innovation modules. A few departments could integrate new technologies fatser into the syllabus.
