What Students Say
Likes
- The social life will always stay as a lovely memory, the canteen facilities and food.
- The campus area and the sitting areas were great to relax around.
- The teaching staff was always there to help us.
Dislikes
- Few arrogant teachers specially in the discipline department. They seriously should learn how to talk to students.
- The sports facilities are the worst you'll see anywhere in the city.
Course Curriculum Overview
I chose BCOM since I wanted to attempt and prepare for government examinations. The classroom facilities are good and big in size along with good seating facilities. Their projectors placed also helped us to learn through PPTs. The campus is good too, students get to chill and study around with an In-built turf available now. The Teaching staff includes teachers with high levels of qualifications like CA, Economist, and many more. The non-teaching is qualified to a minimum board level extent too, they can help you with minor problems during the admission too. The teaching style differs from teacher to teacher, many teachers are very really interactive with the students and some just come forcibly maybe. The exams were conducted on time but there used to be an issue with the results, they came a bit late.
Internships Opportunities
This year in 2022-23, Gillette company came to our college to provide internship opportunities. My roles were as a marketer, accountant, and data entry operator. Limited opportunities and projects were provided and the rest got to other sectors.
Fees and Financial Aid
Fees are comparatively less if you're an insider like around Rs10000 without I.T., with I.T. it may take up to Rs17000. The fee structure changes every year. I didn't go for any internships or scholarships since I was in my preparation for govt exams but some of my friends went on and they provided positive reviews.
Campus Life
Well, Raheja is known for its lovely social life, not many fests but many other programs are organized by every sector during the year. UNMESH and RETAKE are the most famous fest organized by Raheja every year. Most probably they happen in November and December. The library of Raheja has almost every kind of book you need except science streams. Novels, storybooks, textbooks, auto-biography, business tools, entrepreneur stories, and many more and they issue it to the students as long as they want or on the date prescribed by the librarian. The overall atmosphere is good with the greenery of the ground connected next to classrooms and good seating facilities. If you are trying to pursue a career in sports then please stay away from Rahjeja, it has the worst management. Forget training for your individual matches, you have to take permission from college authorities to practice for college matches too. No coach, no training kits are provided, they are just purchased to show off.
Admission
You just need to fulfill the cutoff it announces every year, the cutoff rate is different for outsiders and different for insiders. What do I mean by insider and outsider, the college also has a school connected to it namely 'Malti Jayant Dalal High School', students completing their 10th board from MJDHS always get an upper hand for admission in Raheja since the cutoff is less for them. Luckily I was an In house student. You can easily find the application form on the online portal of L.S Raheja or you can enquire at counter no 2. Fees differ if you're an insider and an outsider too, if an outsider comes then it's a bit high. Applications dates will start in May. Covered in the above points/the Gujrati minority is given first preference too so don't miss out if you're a Gujrati. Not much, the staff is really co-operating.
