I have chosen this course because of the high placements in Computer Science and Engineering Department. All faculties are very supportive and responsive towards their students. All faculties have done Ph.D. from a reputed institute.

The annual fest name AEC FIESTA is held yearly in the month of March or April. About more than 65000 books are available in the Central Library of Asansol Engineering College. Many sports events like cricket, basketball, football, etc. are held in this college. Many clubs like Hardware clubs, Science Clubs, and Coding clubs, etc. are available in this college.

Admission

Admission to Asansol Engineering College is taken through West Bengal Joint Entrance Exam(WBJEE) and Joint Entrance Exam(JEE). You can also take direct admission to this college. Applications are released on the portal of wbjee counseling once you clear the exam.

the cirricullum is quite relevent and comprehensive . BTECH program especially CSE includes specializations like data sciene , cybersecurity, IOT, etc . Exams are held twice in a semester . the college could include hand on learning through workshop , industry project and interships .

Life at Techno Main Salt Lake: A Blend of Academics ,Campus Vives & Career Growth

Placement Experience:

Students can became eligible for placement from 7th semester 4th year.Many company require a minimam cgpa of 8 and no active backlog. They conduct some Aptitude test coding test Technical Interview and Hr interview. Many top company visit TMSL like TCS,Cognizant,IBM,LTI Mindtree, HCL etc. Lowest package about 2.5 lpa and average package was about 4lpa and highest package about 10lpa. CSE & IT have highest placement rate compare to core branch .

Placement Experience:

students are eligible for placements from the 4th year oy 7th semester and companies like google , microsoft , apple, wipro, tcs , adobe visits here. highest placement is about 2 cr which is off campus and lowest is about 3.5 lpa which is in tcs ninja i guess. about 89% of students gets placed in my cse department and i am going to take placement after my college get over .

The placement is really sucks here , the training and placement cell here do nothing , they simply do smoking all the day ,. those students who get off-campus are happy at-least . But tose who got on-campus , they sucks by the college administration . Also college admin forced some students to sit for placements in low package companies.

Remarks:

Birbhum Institute of Engineering and Technology(BIET) is a government-aided engineering college in Suri, West Bengal. According to Seniors, More than 65% student placed every year. Salary offered by various company in the range 25000 -70000 per month basis. Recruiter like JMC, Pinnacle,Capgemini, TCS,Wipro, Infosys, TechMahindra recruits many of them. And also BIET Professor's are very helpful, knowledgeable and well qualified. Some of them completed their M.Tech and B.Tech from IITs. Their teaching quality is also good, and they help students with any topic.

There are many negative remarks for my college as the placement is poor. Least companies come in our college. Not great academic records. Not great lab structure. Too much false Propaganda. Higher Fees Structure.

I chose AEC due to better infrastructure and the nearity of Institute from my home. I got offers from many colleges in west bengal but due to high fees and remoteness from my home i did not opt for those Institute. Also the admission process is very smooth if you have proper documents it will only take you at most 2 hours for all the paper work and other things. To be eligible you must have more than 60 percent in your secondary as well as in senior secondary examination.
