Course Curriculum Overview

Bachelor of Commerce is the course that I choose. The course provides you the good knowledge of core business and accounting which give you a good overall satisfactory experience. There are also additional subjects as per your satisfaction.

Class Size: 39Course Fees: INR 13000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure is good and simple and everyone is eager to help you for admission. There are societies which always be your side to help you if you are not able to get services from the college regarding admission. I don't really know about financial assistance.

Campus Life

The college environment is always a part of your memory but ours was in Corona. There is Hawa Mehal in Shivaji College where every week something new can be visible. Different programs are held on campus. Books are available in the library.

Admission

In 2019 I was entered by merit base admission. That was a great and smooth experience. Firstly you need to wait for the cutoff to appear. Like for I was able to enter 3rd cut-off. After 3rd cutoff, you need to go for enrollment as soon as possible because sometimes seats are limited.

My simple college life.

Course Curriculum Overview:

In regard to the relevancy of the course Im quite fond of the subjects such as BL CA AND HRM they give us the better insights for both practical and theoritical knowledge making us ready for the "real" world . As For the improvement i feel like there should be some flexibility in GE so that students can choose a sub as per their choice as Hindi is fixed for me which isnt quite suitable for my course and it just drags my CGP down. The frequency if the exam is okay but the timing I feel like its way too fast just after first sem exam we had classes and all test and felt like it went on a spur

Curriculum is old and rigid, the still teach old methods and syllabus is updated very slow. But with introduction of SEC and VAC courses student have some different options which the can choose to study for their semester.

Placement Experience:

The placement cell of the college has become very active from this year and is bringing various internship as well as placement opportunities in the college . Students of the 5th sem i.e. 3rd year are eligible for placements. Average package of the college is around ?5-6 lac p.a.. My plan after getting a degree is to go for a corporate job , if provided on campus well and good otherwise to find one myself off campus .

An Unfiltered View of SRCC

Placement Experience:

Placement in SRCC is very amazing, and way beyond the placements of DU colleges. A lot of big big names in Finance, and consulting domain, recruit from campus including McKinsey & Co., Bain & Company, Kearney, Big 4s and all. Highest package is 35+ LPA and Average Package is 10 LPA. I HAVE PLANNED TO complete my ACCA along with a little work experience.

DU intakes admission on the basis of CUET UG exam, and then there's the reservations for all categories, so basically your admission is based on the CUET marks and reservations, and then you get a chance to make a preference list of colleges and courses and then DU allots you a seat based on your preference list and your marks as per category....Read More

Shivaji College is Student Friendly!

Admission are through UG CUET and a score of 600-620 our of 800 is usually the cut-off for Shivaji College, Delhi. Not so good Not so bad

I already know about CUET because in my school some teachers came to our school to guide us about CUET .So after my 12th i started preparing for CUET as I already fill the form before my boards on CUET SAMARTH and the application fee was around 1500 for 7 subjects and it differ how many subject u have chosen then after my boards CUET exam date has been came and admit card also a.Then I gave my exams but the exam centre were not so good they were like so far and the area around the centre was not that great.After that I fill the form for DU admission on CSAS portal and it costed around 250 for SC and I gues for general it was about 500.Then CSAS portal has three application phases 1st is for the normal application form,2nd phase is for the reservation and 3rd is for the preference filling and then u wait for the result.And in 1st round I got PGDAV but I upgraded and got Shivaji college which is near to my home and I got botany hons in that....Read More
