Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

I chose CSE because I knew the upcoming Trend is going to be based on computer machine learning AI. So I wanted to go into that field and learn and enjoy all of those so u I choose this. The faculty-student ratio is not that good for rcciit cs branch but another branch like it got a very good student-to-faculty ratio. Here it's like 1:8 Faculty all are very supportive and helpful I wanna say first. Qualifications are ok not that good but still their experience and way of teaching outperform everything. Term exam like there was 4 class assessment (ca). Our teacher made those questions and those are either not that hard or that easy. I would say average if you follow all teacher's classes and assignments its enough to get good marks there.

Internships Opportunities

4.5

One example Wiley was a bank-oriented company. Offered 20k as a stipend after completing the internship. The project was based on java sql we also need good communication skills. Here we have to undergo training first then give some projects where u have to debug build etc we get used to hands-on experience which might help us in the last 2 sem and in the job.

Placement Experience

5

After the 5th and 6th sem, we are allowed for campus interviews. Some events like TCS codevita are done from the 4th sem where if we crack we will get internship opportunities there later after the 6th sem if we crack those we get jobs earlier and after college finishes we can join immediately. So many recruiters come here like tcs cts Infosys Wipro Capgemini IBM pwc Accenture. The highest salary is 12 lpa someone got via a jp morgan job lowest is 2.5 lpa for Tech Mahindra. Almost 90% of students get placed rest either go for higher studies or are not interested in campus placement. Getting a good job with more than 5 LPA is my current plan and also improves my skills.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure is like per sem basis pay before every sem starts. The first sem charges extra like 70k then all sem charges like 50k on average. Here final sem exams fees are also included. Job opportunities really good as placements are very good here. You will also get some internship opportunities from 3rd year.

Campus Life

4.5

The campus is fully jam-packed with various events. Not only study we enjoyed many events like regalia, TechTricks innovision, TechKrunch, many robotic events, sports events etc. The most important fest is run in August month and February and March month. There are alumni club Rotaract Club there which supports or sponsors various events and also supports poor people who are in need. Students also make various websites and maintain them for our tech Fests they update everything there.

Admission

I got a chance here by giving the west bengal joint entrance exam. I got a good rank here around 10k. Hereafter giving wb joint, there is one round where u have to choose your colleges according to priority. And 3 rounds there. I got my choice of RCC in the first round so I opt it. Overall I can say the admission process is good.

Other Applied Colleges

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum under MAKAUT is quite comprehensive, which is one of the reasons I choose this course. With making the foundation strong in first year with subjects like maths, physics, chemistry and then the core subjects in the later years. In terms of real life application, lab work, project work and projects make us ready for the industry. The syllabus is also alligned with the competitive exams like GATE.

Placements depends on your skills Usually there is a compulsory internship at the end of 3rd year If you didnt get it via college you should do it from outside but its compulsory And at the end of 4th year you get placement. Placemeng isnt 100% . If you have the skill you will get placed thats the criteria.many people say you are in IIT your life is sorted .but that aint the reality
