Entrance Preview

STAS EDAPALLY IS A NICE COLLEGE CURRENTLY MANAGED BY Center for Professional and Advanced Studies (CPAS) in which chairman is our eductional minister. College offers only 3 degree courses which include bsc cyber forensics. There is no entrance examination for entry to this college.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

Bsc cyber forensics is a variety degree course in which only 4 colleges in India have started till now. Compared to other colleges is better. I think the course structure of this course is better. Because in the first semester there is short study about computer science which studied in plus 2 level.

Internships Opportunities

As first year student, i think our college doesn't provide any internship. This is understand from our seniors. But we can try for any opportunities during study period itself.

Placement Experience

1.5

There were no placements directly from our college. As our course is different from bsc computer science and BCA, we think we have better opportunities than above students in the field of security in IT companies. We think we are more eligible in data security officer and other posts.

College Events

4.5

There were only little events were conducted in our college. This is because only 300 students were studying in this college. Also the small compound of college due to heart of KOchi city. A event which was conducted on past year was melam2k17 in february 2017. As i am not a part of that college on those days, i cant feel it.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee structure is feasible compared to other degree courses. As this course is a self finance course, a little fee has to pay. Currently our fee is RS 17500 per semester and a joining fee of 11000 RS sgould be paid. There are 6 semester. AN extra fee for exams should be paid directly to university during exams.

Fees and Financial Aid

Loan facility can be received from many Banks for education. Papers like fee structure & other details will be given from college on our request.

Campus Life

1

Campus life in here is very nice. There will be no Gender/year discrimination is considered here. All students are equal for every one. Politics were included in college. There will be union election on August of every year. It was a rear experience which got there. I have voted for my first time in life.

Hostel Facilities

1.5

There is no college hostel which runs by college. But there are many private hostels located there. The average rent is about RS 4500 including food and stay. We can also take a whole home together from a class & expense can be reduced. Food in hostels were not good as our homes.

Alumni/Alumna

There will be lot of interaction with seniors. A freshers day was organised to us on after admission in which small tasks like spoon race are done. It was really interesting.

Exam Structure

Exams were conducted on semester wise. There are 5 paper which should be cleared in each semester. Lab exam are included. Lab exams were conducted in our colleges. There will be internal exam conducted by respective teachers to evaluate every student. These marks were used to provide internal marks for semester exams.

Admission

Students who pass plus two are eligible to apply here.To get admission student should create an account in centralized allotment process of MG university. Allotment is purely based of HSE marks. A minimum of 60% mark is required. After the allotment, we can also join there by sending an application to the college.

Faculty

3

Faculties of colleges were very nice. They will try their best to teach their students. the faculties there have ability of Understanding of the role of a school in a child’s life. They provide us better confidence in our studies. teachers here will do their maximum efforts towards the students

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum is almost best. Curriculum doesn't influenced me in deciding this course. Curriculum should add internships. Currently there is no mandatory internship, if students are interested they can do internship during vacations. As we are learning psychology which need to be practiced in real world settings, curriculum must include real world training to help students understand things more effectively. Currently intervel between exams are non existent. Internal exams, then semester exams, you blink once, next internal exams, followed by semester exams. Syllabus is understandable, can learn if you try. Exams are also manageable. Real world examples and stories can be included in teaching methods, as psychology is related to humans and human interaction, to get better grasp of concepts. Rather than focusing on passing exam, should focus on the concepts and understand them in-depth. There are a lot of theories to study by heart. And there are many repetitive topics that overlap, but in different semesters.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I feel in love with mathematics in plus two time. The coursee are more application based when compared to other. Out college being an autonomous college has good grip to keep up to the level of good education. Overall teaching methods and syllabus are very good. Frequency of exams are troublesome during the last time of year because all the programmes like youth festival annual day etc come together

Course Curriculum Overview:

My course is Bsc Biotechnology. It is a research associated course. Its main scope is in research. But in every industry let it be medical or industrial a biotechnologist is required. I would like more practical knowledge than theory knowledge in this course as it is needed to be implemented in labs hands on experience is essential. Exams are conducted every 6 months as semester. Class tests and model exams are conducted frequently. Assignments, projects, seminar ,etc.. are given every month.
