Honest college review of CGC Landran, mohali, punjab

I am currently pursuing engineering in Electronics and communication engineering from this college. I chose this course because there was no seat vacant in CSE/IT and ECE is a very good career option to go through And even I got seats in both ECE and CSE in vit vellore, kiit Bhubaneshwar, mait, msit, tpiet. but the bank do not provide me with an education loan and asked for a very huge amount of mortgage against the loan my family's condition is not so well therefore I chose this college. faculties are good faculty: student ratio is also good(1:16) faculties are very well qualified and their teaching method is also good. Term exams are not so difficult to pass.

college provide internship to the students. The internship percentage on campus is somewhere around 70% and students get eligible from the 7th semester to grab the internship on campus otherwise they can grab it from off-campus as well.

The placement of the college is quite good. The college offers very good placement opportunities to their students. The highest package offered last year was around 45lpa and the average was around 6lpa. Placement is somewhere around 90%.

When I took admitted to this college the fees for the course were very normal and the hostel fees were also very normal but this year there is a 25% fee hike observed in both college and hostel fees. For getting the details of the scholarship contact the college counsellor because I don't know about it.

Life on the campus is just good. A fest name Privartan gets organised in the month of December it is a fest of total 2 days. there are many clubs present in the college and it provides many opportunities to each and every one.

Hostel facility is good.You can get registered for the hostel at the time of your admission. There are many PG nearby the collge in a very nominal fees. Meal quality is average menu of the mess is very versatile.
