There are two individual who takes care of the entire administration with a head chairman. The management is neat, genuine and would always hear to good suggestions.

I took CAT examination for four years starting from 2010. I desperately wanted to study in any of the IIMs after my under graduation. But I was missing the cut offs by inches. In 2014, I score 90%ile in CAT and got calls from IIM Trichy, IIM Kozhikode and IIM Indore and I was in the waitlist in all three. Fortunately, I got interview call from IIM Indore but unfortunately I did not clear. The interview was mostly technical from my engineering background. Later as I did not get through in all three, I was holding up to look for IIM Trichy Chennai Centre part time education. My CAT percentile was good enough to get me to the interview. The interview went well and my journey of 3 years education started there.

The course offers elaborate research opportunities on various fields. The fields includes Marketing management, Strategic management, Organization Behavior & Human Resources Management, Quantitative Techniques & Operations Management, Finance and Accounting, Management Information Systems, General Management and Economics & Public Policy. Each of the field is been taken up by expert professors from the field who have been rewaded several times for their research work in international conferences.

No, our college does not provide internships. The college does lot of visiting lectures who are from top positions in top companies around the world.

This is a part time education and the people who join require minimum of 3 years work experience. As only the working executives join this program there are no placement facilities provided by the college. But the management is keen on bringing in some placement opportunities for the upcoming batches.

Our college conducts a get together event known as HR conclave. It happens yearly once around October in which top executives join in a panel for discussion on trending HR topics. All the management students from top institutions in India are invited to attend this event (charges applicable) to get benefitted.

The fees structure is term wise. We had nine terms and we have to pay equal amount for every term within one month of starting of the term period. The fees is little expensive comparing to the average management fees structure in India. On late payment of fees, fine for each day of delay will be charged.

Our college has tie ups with HDFC and AXIS Banks. They provide special loan rates of 10% for the students joining the course.

The campus is neat and compact. It has four classrooms, a computer hall, a library, a conference hall, faculty rooms and an office room. The gender ratio is around 5:2. There is no issues of race, religion, sexual orientations, policies or economic statuses.

As its a part time course, we don't have hostel or mess facility. But there is a private vendor who supplies coffee and food at evenings. We need to preorder to the vendor incase we need coffee or food for the evening. Most of us don't choose to avail as the course would run only for a maximum for 4 hours on any given day.

The college has a big alumni network that contains both regular and part time students. The alumni network continuously keeps people in contact and looks to provide job opportunities for several.

The mark system here is not all about exams. It includes difference aspects such as class participation, assignments, project works, industry visits, seminars, class tests, mid term and end term exams. Mostly it would be chilled out as the evaluation happens through out the course and not on particular exam days.

The admission advertisement for put on leading news papers in early January. I personally visited the campus to know more about the admission processes. I was called for interview by early February. The entire interview process happened for a span of two weeks. I got the result that I got through by March. I went for induction program that happened on June which is when I paid the first term fees and procurement of books and detailed syllabuses happened.

IIM Trichy is known for its best faculties among IIMs, The faculties are expert researchers in their fields and they themselves come from prestigious MBA colleges around the world. They are known for presenting successful research papers in international conferences.
