Course Curriculum Overview

the course is heavily finance-focused and covers all finance concepts in depth. faculty is well qualified from IIMs and FMS and DSE. The student-teacher ratio is 1:60. regular classes and exams are held.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 25000 per year

Internships Opportunities

DE Shaw- Financial Research, stipend- 60,000 pm, McKc- Research and data insights- 75,000 pm. FTI Consulting- Finance and economics- 35,000 pm. Fischer Jordan- consulting- 40,000 pm. RAAM Group- Business development 35,000 pm.

Placement Experience

students become eligible for placements in the 5th semester. Many companies visit the campus like- BCG, BCN, McKinsey, LCN, De Shaw, FTI Consulting, Hoolihan Lowkey, Samagra, etc. highest package- is 37 LPA, CRED ( According to the latest placement stats). average package- 13 LPA. profiles offered in the domain of finance, consulting, marketing, and HR.

Fees and Financial Aid

cost is very minimal (25000 per annum), also there are scholarships by the central government and DU to help students financially. The fee hikes are very rare. also, students can pursue internships to support themselves financially.

Campus Life

the library is well equipped with all books and relevant journals and publications. one of the best infrastructures in classrooms with air conditioners and projectors as well. SSCBS has the highest number of college societies in all DU and is related to finance, marketing, consulting entrepreneurship, etc. cultural societies are also there like dance society, music society, and drama society.

Admission

At our time, it was DUJAT, but now it has been merged under CUET. Eligibility is Maths in class 12 and a minimum percentage according to CUET. Reservation benefits to SC, ST, OBC, PWD, and EWS are available as per du guidelines.

SSCBS is superb

Placement Experience:

KPMG, Deloitte, Sun Pharma, Sugar Cosmetics and others as business developer are always be in demand. Around 80% of the students are placed through campus but I am preparing for CAT and other entrance exams as I will be pursuing MBA post my graduation.

mostly 3rd year students sits for placements , offers are given yet they are low from market and not vast in numbers too , i dont remember any major company that joined the placement drive its mostly local startups and companies and they dont support us doing interships so its really hard in bms to get placements as it just not possible

IIMT: A roller coaster ride

Placement Experience:

There are quite few placement opportunities provided by the college but most of them are for sales or operations positions. At the sixth semester students are eligible for the Campus placements. BBA students gets an average package of 3.5 - 4 lakhs. My plan after completing BBA is to start my MBA journey. Currently preparing for my CAT Exam.

An Out of campus gem

Remarks:

Overall the college is a gem, being an out of campus college it provides a student with all the facilities which a north campus college can, from the high tension politics to big relaxing grounds, to happening societies, to big fests and to the latest infrastructure, each and everything is in par competence with north campus colleges.
