IIIT Una : Review

I wanted CSE and it was the best college where I can get CSE at my rank as it is one of the few IIITs which have its own campus. the student-teacher ratio is 15:1. Most of the faculty members have their Ph.D. from IITs and NITs. There is 2 cycle test and one end-semester exam, relative grading is there.

the 6th semester is entirely dedicated to internships may get a pre-placement offer from the company itself, Amazon, LinkedIn, CDOT(govt. company), Goldman Sachs, Bharat Pay, etc, have visited more detail can be found on the institute website.

This IIIT is PPP thus fee is little high when compared to NITs and IITs, but when you compare it with other IIITs it is less, Different govt. scholarship is available 100% fee refund for SC/ST students, and for that, you have to apply for scholarship on govt website.During orientation they will discuss about all available scholarship schemes.

Mridang is a cultural fest that occurs in winter and Meraki is tech fest conducted by AAVESH club , Library is short as only 3 branches are there CSE, IT and ECE, most of the things for CSE and IT are available online so not a big problem, Class has AC, Indoor and Outdoor sport facility is available, FORCE, AAVESH, EPMOC, EUNOIA are different clubs.

Hot water facility for bathing , water dispenser , washing machine , good WiFi with avg speed of 150+ mbps , Veg mess has poor review and nonveg mess is better, hostel fee is affordable and registration process is easy .

B.Tech candidates should have more than 75% in class 12 Candidates can take admission through JOSSA counseling for that they have to appear in JEE Main examination.If you want to get admission then you can fill this intitue in your choice filling, based on your rank and your category you might get this collage in different rounds, for more info you can check institute website and participating instute in JOSSA. Reservation for Gen-EWS, OBC-NCL, SC/ST is available , percentage of each category is as per government norm.
