Course Curriculum Overview

I choose CSE because it is in great demand. There is not much crowd in the campus so faculty:student ratio is quite good. Faculty is quite good as most of them are PHD holders and UPSC qualified. Semester exam is of moderate level.

Class Size: 66Course Fees: INR 170000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Maruti and Kotak Mahindra are proviring internships from 7th sem and internships in DRDO, AAI too, Top roles offered is Trainee engineer, Software engineer, executive engineer, software analyst, electronic designer etc. .

Placement Experience

Placements are avg. . Average package is 6LPA. Some of the companies that visited college are IBM, TCS, Accenture, Capegimini, Godrej, Maruti, Mongo DB, PayPal, Ubder, Zomato etc. Highest package is 25LPA by Amazon, Lowest is 3LPA.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fee is same as other govt. engineering college but seems too much because to poor infrastructure and other required facility. There are various scholarships available like siemens etc. . On-Campus jobs and internships are avg. .

Campus Life

Campus life is poor because of small campus. Not much fests occur. Library is well quipped. There are various sports played but there is only two sports court, one is badminton another is basketball. There are various clubs ran but students like Club Of Programmers, Innovation & Development, Buniyaad, Samidha etc. .

Admission

To get admission in this college you have to apply for JAC DELHI Counseling. On the basis of JEE MAIN score admission are being conducted. Reservations and scholarships are available for various communities like OBC, SC, ST.

From Classrooms to Campus ; my dtu journey

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would say the course curriculum at DTU is quite relevant and comprehensive. The reason I chose this course was the mix of strong fundamentals in the first year—like Maths, Physics, Chemistry, and Programming—followed by department-specific core and elective courses that allow some flexibility and specialization. The curriculum gives a solid foundation for both real-world applications and further studies, especially through hands-on projects and lab work. That said, some areas could be improved, like including more industry exposure, internships, and practical case studies to bridge theory and real-world problems. Exams happen twice a semester (mid-terms and end-terms) and include assignments and projects as part of evaluation. While most exams are manageable if you keep up with the coursework, a few subjects can be challenging, and preparation is key to avoid surprises.

NIT Delhi: A Balanced Blend of Academics, Opportunities, and Campus Life

Placement Experience:

The annual placements at NIT Delhi are consistently getting better year by year where the top branches such as CSE, ECE, and IT are leading the way with their strong placement rates. Many students get hired at very attractive salaries by well-established companies like TCS, Infosys, Cognizant, Microsoft, and Amazon. For example, the CTC of the best offers have reached as high as ?15–20 LPA in some instances. The Mechanical, Civil, and Electrical branches also contribute to the university’s overall placement record to some extent. Those students usually boost the available opportunities for themselves by taking up internships and off-campus offers. Moreover, the students who fail to get a job on the campus can still benefit out of the college atmosphere where the strong basics of coding, projects, and practical skills are taught which makes the students quite employable at startups, off-campus, or even when going for higher studies like M.Tech/GATE/abroad. Great Placements but Campus needs improvements

Placement Experience:

After 3rd year students become eligible for campus placements. Almost 90% students gets placed. The top companies are Amazon, Apple, Microsoft, Google and Adobe. The highest package is 53 lacks and the average package is 20 lacs. I plan to become a software engineer after i complete my course or study further.
