Course Curriculum Overview

4

My honors subject is BSc in ZOOLOGY and I chose this course because I had a deep interest to study animals as I loved studying biology. Faculties are really experienced out here. Every faculty have cleared CSIR NET from science and almost all of them hold a Ph.D. degree. The teaching methods are good. Final exams are conducted after every 3 months from the day each semester begins and it's not that hard to pass exams.

Fees and Financial Aid

Studying in St Edmunds might seem a little costly than other colleges because the fee is a little high than normal colleges. But it's affordable for everyone and you can even grab a scholarship through various scholarship schemes. Cost of money depends from course to course. If you are from science it will be somewhat 23k and if from arts its 15k min .

Campus Life

2.5

College Week is conducted by the college every year at the beginning of the even semester. There are many books available in the library which are useful to students and teachers, and you need not search for books outside as most of the books are available in the library itself. There are many extracurricular activities that go on in college from time to time. You can join different social groups through different social media to communicate with people.

Admission

The eligibility criteria to get into St Edmunds college is more than 70% marks in 12 th boards. The application forms are released on the college website itself immediately after your 12th boards are over and the application fee cost up to only 100 rupees. The teachers are very experienced, especially the teachers from the science stream are really good. The college has a very beautiful campus with greenery. There is no reservation system available in the college, everything is done on a merit basis. Internal exams are held before the finals by the college which is really good for students. Overall my experience at St Edmunds college is really amazing.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum of my course is pretty good and helpful with proper teaching about the subject, it is also helpful for real-life work and activities with proper hands-in skills teaching and theoretical knowledge. But there is a big setback that it is not recognised by the Indian council of agricultural research(ICAR). Recognition by the ICAR will have a big boost in the course and department

Course Curriculum Overview:

Although this is a private college still it has recognition for the efficiency of this college. I wasn't interested in medicine and engineering. so I had to do a BSc so this college is one of the best in North East India. From the chemistry department, there are various scopes such as the food industry, oil industry, wax industry, ONGC, OIL, and various jobs. The teaching method is efficient and if there is any chance to improve then I would like to say that faculty should monitor that every student is being facilitated with proper materials.
