Course Curriculum Overview

I personally loved chemistry so I prefer b pharm as my career option. The faculties are very good and each of them is very well educated and passed from renowned universities. A maximum of the faculties have completed their PhD and mostly they prefer the flip learning method of teaching.

Class Size: 200Course Fees: INR 136000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Companies like Wipro, GSK, sun pharma, Cipla, Mankind, and Johnson and Johnson, offer jobs to students. The salary is also very good. You can also do a Ma pharm to have a higher salary than a b pharm graduate.

Fees and Financial Aid

The cost to study is about 544000( total fees) You can get a scholarship like the Swami Vivekananda scholarship I got it. 90% of the student get placement from college only and the rest of them get outside.

Campus Life

There is a college fest which is really enjoyable. The college has around 9 clubs and each of them has specific works. Like literary and painting clubs, social welfare clubs etc. Sports events are organised by JIS Group and students as well as faculties participate in that events.

Admission

The admission process was not very difficult. It was an easy process. I personally gave wbjee exam and got a rank of around 6k in pharmacy after that, the counselling was done and I took admitted to this college.

Gitanjali college also gives adequate placements opportunities. Opportunities comes from many sectors. Appolo, Med plus etc. are common and easy opportunities. Beside them Mainly Production companies like Macloids, Sun Pharma etc also conducts interview for their production units every year. Interviews are arranged for 4th year students only. My plan is to continue my higher studies.

I have applied for institute of genetic engineering for the same course BSc genetics but I to admission in Guru Nanak institute of pharmaceutical sciences because they are the only other colleges in West Bengal who provides BSc genetics as their course and I choose this college because this is under GIS group and this is well known in West Bengal. I did not get any rejection from the other colleges I applied.
